Best Stiff Arm Ever?
-
sonofsamI work in PA so I hear about how good Western PA football is all the time... I still do not think it can hold a candle to Ohio football, but take a look at this stiff arm... Hopewell Vikings' Rushel Shell just punishes a Blackhawk defender at the 3:56 mark...

Gardens35Yep, that was a good one. Nice highlight video too. Thanks for posting it.
I've caught a few W. Pa games over the years, they do play some good football over there...especially at the Quad A and Triple A levels, and there's some small school programs that are real solid. -
sonofsamThe five names you usually hear the most are Aliquippa, Hopewell, West Allegheny, Blackhawk, and Rochester...
-
MANAZEbest ever? no, but still good.

Kinda like Hellmans... The MAY-NAZE has a good taste when you mix it with something like fish... Tuna to be exact... Best ever? No, But easy to fix lunch with a pile of white goo and some tuna. LOL -

Those are smaller schools.
The big schools that get the most pub are Woodland Hills, Gateway, McKeesport, USC, and North Hills.
Recently North Allegheny and Bethel Park have fielded some good teams. -

I know about those teams a little bit also, but the 5 I mentioned are right around the area I work in... -

Commander of AwesomeI think Kellen Winslow's stiff arm on porter is the best stiff arm ever.
-
Spread All DayI believe two or three seasons ago, one of the BEST teams in western Pa played one of the BEST in Ohio.
Mooney 27
Gateway-0
PA football doesnt hold a candle to Ohio ball. -
Spread All DayOr this past year, when Ursuline Manhandled Pitt.Cent.Cath.

?????? You mean PCC handled Ursulin .. I was at the game down on Wheeling Island Ursulin jumped all over them early but PCC wore them down and then thumped Ursulin 40 something to 20 something PCC gets most of the best city school Pittsburgh kids .. although I hear Aliquippa has a pipeline from Pittsburgh -

No, you posted, a score from a game, from I believe, two or three seasons ago, which involved a school from Pa, and a school from Oh. You then posted, "Pa football doesn't hold a candle to Ohio ball." (which I agree with BTW). My post was in reference to YOUR post having nothing to do with the topic of this thread. -
Spread All DayUrsuline was UNDEFEATED this past season. Soo uhh.. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT
-
Spread All Day#2 is what i made my comment about, btw
-
ManO'WarYea, Ursuline didn't play Pittsburgh Central Catholic last year, that was the year before in the game which Thicknthin described on Wheeling Island. Ursuline went up by 3 TD's, but got wore down and couldn't stop PCC the rest of the game.
PCC beat Buchtel last year in the game right after ours at Woodland Hills. Buchtel would have been in the game if they had any kind of special teams. -
ThinthickbigredPCC is the team from the WPIAL which impressed me the most
