Ursuline 2011

That is a very good possibility along with losses to St. Eds, Mooney, Lake Catholic, and McKinley. The difference between Ursuline and Skank's school is that at least they play these teams. They aren't going to run to the OHSAA and cry because they have such a tough schedule. The kids from Ursuline will show up and play their collective asses off because they are tough kids from Youngstown.fish82;686897 wrote:What if Mentor beats the crap out of them? -

And guess what, it has ALWAYS been that way so stop complaining. Where were you at in 2006 and 2007 when Ursuline had some of its worst teams in quite some time, all while drawing kids from Youngstown and Campbell and Austintown.. Mooney gets the Boardman kids..
And my thoughts on 2011: Another state title run. Even with Akise gone, they are still absolutely loaded at RB and will have a sophomore QB that could have started for them this past season as a freshmen... oh yeah that kid came from St. Christine's...
My honest to God opinion is the Catholic school middle school programs are just better than their public school counterparts. That is not always the case as Austintown defeated North Catholic last year, but North Catholic steamrolled each of Boardman's teams this year and the coaching staffs for these grade/middle school programs are tremendous. Coach Koller with West Catholic and Coach Campana with North Catholic are coaches that could very easily be coaching in HS right now. -

No, Massillon has never played a tough schedule

Ursuline's schedule is brutal:
In no particular order: Mooney, Akron SVSM, Mentor, Mentor Lake Catholic, Canton McKinley, Lakewood St. Edward's, and a prep school from PA. Still have 2 bye's last I heard.
Wow, kind of funny, how Reardon did not apply for the Harding job, but still got interviewed today -

I agree 100%. The coaching staff at South Catholic is absolutely awesome. I think the 7th graders went undefeated like 3 years in a row, or something unheard of like that. The coaches at that level could easily be coaching most of the HS teams in the area. -
mvredI am sticking with my prediction Reardon is going nowhere. He has built a power at Ursuline and has something special going for him right now. The WGH is not the job it once was 5-10-15 years ago. There is no doubt he could turn it around, I just don't see him leaving Ursuline and hope he does not.

If it is so great for him at Ursuline, why did he apply and interview at Middletown, and Harding? -

One of two reasons, neither of which are good. -

What are the two reasons, so I can have a 50/50 chance of figuring it out. LOL -

What I meant was that neither reason would benefit anyone but Ursuline. -

Just messin, skank. Actually, I hope Reardon does stay at Ursuline, and Filtz from Maple Hts gets the Harding job. We should know by the first week of March -

Can you make one....Just one post without insulting or namecalling? We have different opinions, so what? Does it bother you THAT much that with almost every post you have to degrade with words? I think it speaks volumes about your intelligence. -

skankRocket08;685632 wrote:So now skunk complains because somebody plays "too tough of a schedule"

No response to the schedules Massillon has played for the last decade rocket?
Het SAD, why hasn't Ursuline called McKinley back for two weeks? Still waiting to see if they get a couple more kids? -

Damm, Mooney has a couple of weeks open and we'd love to play McKinley and Massillon every year.
