Can I draft this Braylon on my NFL.com fantasy team?
I'll cut Reggie Bush right now!

    Future Heisman candidate!

Thanks for the updates, they are appreciated. Score wouldn't be as bad as it is if DeSales could hold on to the ball. Give the Mooney defense credit for that.

He's good but he won't be close to Bush good once college starts and that is not a put down. Bush was special in college and played on awesome talented(dag I hate saying that)teams.

Not one of the Desales fumbles were forced.
My blind grand pa could have picked that pass.

Mooney could have won this with their back ups and that isn't a shot at DeSales it is giving props to Mooney.

    You sound a bit upset!
You weren't rooting for Desales were you?
  • newarkcatholicfan
No, not upset at all to be honest I seldom root for either team and I took Mooney in the picks contest. I also predicted them all season to win the title.

I call it the way I see it and more times than not it is not very popular.

In this game though I did want DeSales but knew this was not going to be a game.

DeSales is in a area where their are way more than two schools that get the talent that was the deciding factor for me in this one and with picking Mooney all season.
  • tank2nasty
    Lol I can understand that!
  • newarkcatholicfan
I was raised to speak my mind in person and that carries on to these forums also.

Some, not you can not handle this very well and I really not not sugar coat things to make it easier on some.

DeSales scores with .15 seconds left in the scrimmage,35-7 Mooney wins.

^ I would rather I get more updates than commentary though... not that you probably aren't right. JMO.

    Can't please everyone(LOL)
I will let another do the updates and have my convesations on another thread.

Mooney recruits beat the Desales recruits!

    Lol

    I kid I kid!

Mooney came to play no doubt about that but DeSales rolled over in this one. Who were THOSE guys? Not the Stallions that played the previous 14 weeks thats for sure. They will think about this one the rest of their lives.
  • SQ_Crazies
DeSales didn't roll over at all--Mooney just flat out destroyed them. How can you roll over when you run the offense DeSales runs? They just got hit and tackled quickly all game, that's the bottom line. You knew Mooney would score on DeSales D. No one rolled over, Mooney was just that much better.
  • sebastian
Are you kidding? They did to roll over. They didn't even get hit and fumbled the ball 5 fives. Thats terrible. They didn't want to be there and it's a shame.
  • GoChiefs
Enough with the damn 'recruiting' talk.
  • Paladin
Mooney just had better athletes from Youngstown, Poland, Boardman, etc.

An impressive All Star team from all over Mahoning County.

    They rolled over?
They didnt want to be there?
    NFW.....

They were smoked by a superior team.
    It is that simple.

LOL, they didn't want to be there? I'm sure they would have rather been in school then right? They did not roll over Mooney just destroyed them. I'm telling you Mooney would beat the winner of the D1 title game--they're that good this year. DeSales fumbled the ball because Mooney kids are well taught and stripped it out.

Careful, that will probably get deleted. Probably insinuates RECRUITING. Ashame you can't state thoughts on an open forum!
  • GoChiefs
No doubt Mooney is a great team..and I think they would have won regardless obviously..but I don't think that was the 'A' game from DeSales. I do think they might have rolled over just a bit. But even if they hadn't...they wouldn't have had a chance....as for the fumbles...not all of them had anything to do with Mooney. A couple of those fumbles were self inflicted by DeSales.

Go read the rules..specifically #3. You don't like it...go away. It's really that simple. The rules are there for a reason.

    Agreed!
Games tend to go out of the norm when you face better competition!
  • sebastian
Mooney's kids were taught that if you run at someone and don't hit them, then they would fumble? WOW, that's impressive. Mooney hits weren't what caused the fumbles. Did you watch the game?
