2010 Nelsonville-York Buckeyes!!

Orange and BrownThoughts?

Orange and BrownI think NY will have a great season next year. They started 7 sophs on both sides of the ball and have a lot coming back. It will be tough replacing Derek Arnold, but they have plenty of horses behind him waiting for there shot. To me the big question is if the coaching staff is goint to stick with the 4-4 or go back to the 50? I think the 4-4 is to much of a bend don't break D and the bucks just couldn't get enough pressure up the middle.

NYBuckeye96The Buckeyes still have an opening for week 5 in 2010 if anyone is looking for a week 5 game.......
Nelsonville-York 2010 Schedule:
Week 1 - TRIMBLE
Week 2 - NEWARK CATHOLIC
Week 3 - @ Berne Union
Week 4 - COLUMBUS BISHOP READY
Week 5 -
Week 6 - @ Wellston*
Week 7 - MEIGS*
Week 8 - @ Vinton County*
Week 9 - ALEXANDER*
Week 10 - ATHENS*
I think NY will have an outstanding team next year. Most of the varsity starters this past season were sophomores, and the team went 8-2, won the TVC OHIO, and just missing the R 19 playoffs by the skin of their teeth.
Derek Arnold will be a big loss, but the Buckeyes have big losses almost every year and they just reload with new talent.
I look for great things in the next two seasons as our sophomore starters from 2009 become juniors and seniors. -
newarkcatholicfanI will see you guys in week two.
Good luck. -
Orange and BrownI think as the pass goes the Buckeyes go. We have to continue to get better throwing the ball.

SquirmydogGCC has an opening in week 5. I wouldn't mind a roady to Athens County.

I am sure that would be a fine game but 2 private schools are enough for now. -
NYBuckeye96NY added a game @ St. Clairsville for week 5 next season. The schedule is now complete......

The Buckeyes have a very strong non-league schedule to prepare for a playoff run in 2010. -
