icskinsHe would lose a year, I think. Don't transfers have to sit out?
-
snyds113Not sure.
-
bigredbaseball0Yes, if you transfer from a DIA school to another D1A school you have to sit out a year.

bigred2010Trey Wiggins is being recruited by Fairmont St. and Malone

FairwoodKingConsidering how many games we win, I'm surprised we don't send a lot more players to college, especially to Div. I. Anyone have any thoughts?

I agree. Maybe it has something to do with size. You have strong athletic kids.FairwoodKing wrote: Considering how many games we win, I'm surprised we don't send a lot more players to college, especially to Div. I. Anyone have any thoughts?
Wasn't this one of the knocks on Callaros(his size)? Look what he has done this year. Hopefully he continues and maybe thus will get some more kids a shot. -

If Big Red showed the same energy in the locker room before the Mooney game and put that energy to use on the field instead, they'd have another trophy.tank2nasty wrote:
Yep but at least they have a regional trophy to keep them company!september63 wrote: Steubenville seniors.............watching the game from the same place as the Dover Sr's?...............YUP, they are. -
Cmhs74This is not a jab at Reno or the rest of the coaching staff but how much effort do they put in during the season to make sure colleges know about their players and get them to the Big Red games to see them in action? If colleges don't know about the players they won't offer them scholarships, and I'm talking about all players, not just the seniors. Mr. Heard from Mooney picked West Virginia before the season began so it wouldn't be a distraction during the season. Best of luck to all the Big Red seniors.

Are you a control freak irl?FairwoodKing wrote: Getting back to my original question, what Big Red seniors other than Macon are going to be playing college ball next year?
Zach is a brilliant athlete, but in the grades dept he's dumber than dirt (or at least that is what some smart kids said swhen he was in there class).snyds113 wrote: Here is a crazy thought. If Kelly goes to ND does Zach have the grades to go with him? That would be sweet.
Maybe bc they're good athletes but bad students?FairwoodKing wrote: Considering how many games we win, I'm surprised we don't send a lot more players to college, especially to Div. I. Anyone have any thoughts?
Isn't that why Macon verbaled to Central Michigan while the season was underway?Cmhs74 wrote: This is not a jab at Reno or the rest of the coaching staff but how much effort do they put in during the season to make sure colleges know about their players and get them to the Big Red games to see them in action? FairwoodKingUC is a good school in terms of academics. I know because I taught there. Collaros must be doing decently.

Yes, I watched the awards. All I can say is that I hope Brooke plays Big Red in 2010. Then we'll find out who the Team of the Year is!snyds113 wrote: Fairwood did you catch the hs awards? If not I think they are on wtov9.com.
