How will Dover be remembered, after 2010?

  • Big Al Carter
Thoughts? Please be honest! They made a deep run in the playoffs, and had a good team.
  • Big Al Carter
How long will they ride the Steubenville win out? Was this their BIGGEST win in school history?
  • Big Al Carter
Could there be a Dover/Steubenville contract drawn up, maybe a two year deal? With an opt-out option after one year?

I don't have anything to add. I just thought I'd post here so you wouldn't look so silly talking to yourself. Carry on.

Serious? Ok, probably for beating Steubenville, because I remember thinking, "Wow, Dover didn't crap down their leg for a change". But, then again, I DID actually see them crap down their legs VS Marlington....So, I guess I change mine to, no, I know I change mine to Dover crapping down their legs vs Marlington.

As opposed to Buchtel of course. That was an epic performance.

Hey, I guess I do have something to add. Sorry for interrupting you and Al. Back to it.

Thats because Dover people cant read to make a comment.
  • skank
Oh nice, now it's 8 from NC and 5 from Massillon.
  • Big Al Carter
9 to 5. Like the jobs Dover people cant get.
  • vikingcaptain82
Oh, now I see why a "trolling protocol" was put in place. My goodness. If most of you are adults, you do realize, you are fighting and arguing about a sport played by 16, 17 and 18 year olds, right?

To answer the first question ..I dont think dover will be remembered atleast by the football minded people other than Dover ...............

stick to the original post bases .......Perhaps by you Dover will be remembered for slaying the giant that is known to you as BIG RED >>> We shall return
  • bases_loaded
Why did you call me out for not sticking to the thread? LOL

Dover will be remembered as the team that wasn't supposed to be anything special. A borderline playoff team that ended up knocking off Big Red at home then region favorite Sheridan in the second round. Had a lot of things go their way and when things stopped going their way they got their butts handed to them.

In the end they will be remembered as the team that went to Death Valley in round 1 and came out with the W.

^^^^^^^ Yep thats what I thought too ... until we meet again...

Dover will be remembered as a bunch of over acheivers who had a great season. Plenty coming back next year for them, so good things are ahead.
