New Trinity at Steubenville CCHS

NukeLalooshI have just been informed by a very good source that Coach Kucz is in fact not retiring from coaching after all. Instead, he will be taking the head job at CCHS next year. In addition, he will be taking Joe Hammack and Sean Grinch with him as his coordinators. All I can say is wow!
-
sonofsamAbsolutely NOT true...
-
NukeLalooshIf you say so, Sam...
-
sonofsamI just left Coach Kucz's house... He will NOT be coaching next year except from the stands when he attends his grandchildren's sporting functions. I have known Coach Kucz since I was 6 years old... This rumor is exactly that, a rumor. He did find it amusing though, He had a few rumors that I hadn't heard as well
Rumor Closed. -
ThinthickbigredLOL
-
sonofsamI dont know what Nukie Dookie is on, but his info is WAY misinformed.
-
ThinthickbigredI heard this past football season they were trying to get rid of Bahen ....it would be a frigging shame ..But it wouldnt be the first time that school sold out its best coach ever ...two times before they have done it.
-
sonofsamWell I can 100% tell you that Kucz, Hammack, and Grinch will NOT be coaching at CCHS next year.
-
icredskinsI also hear that the existing coach will not be coaching there either!!

Heard the same thing and its a shame. When the cupboard is bare, its bare... You can't produce athletes with CCHS' kind of numbers. I do know they they have lost a few players due to the current coaching situation, but who in their right mind would honestly take that job? Kuczy isn't taking it and Hammack bleeds red and gold... Grinch isn't moving either. So what events transpire? -
icredskinsWe'll see where his supporters are this time around and if the students will stage another walkout.

Here we go again,Another kid runs home to mommy and daddy because he didn't get his way and the coach grabbed him and yelled at him in front of his friends. His parents go crying to the school and church that he was abused.
Kids need to grow up! -

Dont be taking shots at that man . He is a good coach and teacher .... Some punk with a big name again ... hopefully another kid will get whoever that punk is -
ThinthickbigredTotally disgusted .....These whiney punks these days and parents that are way pridefull going to try and ruin this man... The time he stepped in before he was so completely in the right and I am sure he is this time as well ....frigging people make me sick ...... after the coach did whatever he did to correct this kid the father of that kid should have done more of the same .... How can you be such a tattler what is that
-
killer_ewokThis ticks me off. I wouldn't be surprised if the attorney for the diocese has an ax to grind since Coach stopped his son's racist bullying several years ago at CCHS. Just garbage.
I NEVER saw Coach assault a kid or hit a player. He might get in your face a little bit but nothing overboard or criminal. If this does go down....I hope Stevie Daley takes over. -
ThinthickbigredYou Central people better line up and protect him ...I remember that racist crap that coach Bahen stopped ... He is a hero if anything ....The politics of that school sickens me sometimes ... I have had several friends graduate from that school and and know fathers that have had there sons play for him at Central and Edison ..and god help you if you say something bad about this man ...... I cant stand some of these high horse people

icredskinsOK, first off, get your facts straight before you start blaming a kid for running to his mommy and daddy. He did not even tell his parents about it. The facts are that he struck a teenage kid, causing injury. If he wasn't the football coach and was just a teacher, you all would be leading the lynching party! Being a football coach does not give you a free pass to do whatever you feel is right. This is not the first time this has happened. He has been suspended 3 times now for doing this since he's been back at Central.

What facts? Were you there when it happened? -
icredskinsNo I was not, as I'm sure none of you guys were either. But I do know what happened and the parties involved and they are sick about this whole incident. But you have to protect your child. How do you think they would feel if they said nothing, then another incident happened causing injury to someone else? Your kids are top priority.

And I never claimed to have been there or to know exactly what happened. You're still claiming that you know what happened even though you admit that you weren't there. -
icredskinsFair enough. I wasn't there so I don't know all the details. I guess we'll see what the Diocese and the Jefferson County Prosecutor find out.
-
MANAZEIf it is true he'll be the next coach at Creek. Creek has some kind of love affair with the Central people.

Just cause he was suspended before doesnt mean anything to me cause he was right .. I thought it was twice anyway once at Edison and once at Central .... A reg teacher might be scared of a punk kid or one with a lawyers last name ....He is called upon by other teachers anyway when there is a problem ...You are just trying to lynch him .....I dont care if I was there or not ... whatever he did the kid deserved it ..no doubt in my mind ....frigginfg spoiled rotten punks need delt with these days
