Federal League- 2011

So, its the off season now, and things are going to change come next football season.

Who are the Fed League guys here, and how do you see the Fed ending up next year?
  • Gardens35
Fitch won't be eligible for the title but will probably have the best record in the league.

Can Jackson turn things around? Will Fitch be better off without FL, or will the FL be better off without Fitch? Why dont FL schools want Massillon?

Massillon has never been "eligible" for the title, but has had the best Fed League record many times!!!! :D

Not in the short term, they've already signed a two year deal with a Canadian team starting next season......so that's a pretty good indicator about the future schedule, and that's even playing the 7 Fed games next year.

Which Canadian team? I know several Stark County teams play some teams from Canada.

Bishop Tonnos HS of Ontario. No Fear here, Fitch is taking on the Catholics!

Last year, most folk in Stark County were so busy licking McKinley's boots through the pre-season and weeks 1 and 2 that they didn't pay much attention to anyone else.

Ive never heard of them? Have they ever played an Ohio team before? What was their record last year?
  • Gardens35
They "played" Warren G Harding the last couple years. They're probably good enough to beat a couple real small D6 schools and Massillon, but that's about it. The whole deal is L-A-M-E.

I dont know. Massillon seems to lay it on the teams north of the boarder. I wonder if they will play any this next season. Do you know the rest of Fitch's OL schedule?
  • Gardens35
Fitch has Warren G Harding, Poland, the Canadian team, then the 7 FEDs. WGH and Poland are nice local match-ups.

Yeah right, like Massillon would lose to a Canadi....Oh, sorry, I didn't see the Bishop....Carry on.

Wow, when was the last time Fitch played WGH?

And what would it be, that you "think", that I am doing here? Please do not confuse my SN with that of North Canton. I'm from Eastern PA. I am in no way affiliated with the Federal League or any team in it. In fact, my kids go to Warren Local schools.
