Former Twinsburg coach Solis to Wooster...
-
CCRollyHey, one can dream. But if I'm AD Hamsher, the thought needs to cross my mind. It's time for a change, and this guy can get the job done.
-
Mr. 300Bwaa Haaaa.....Mac is in for the long haul in Woo.
-
GoJPM!Step down for Solis.
-
THE4RINGZIt would solidify the Wooster program therefore it won't happen. Wooster's AD has no balls both literally and figuratively.
-
GoJPM!You guys would have a better chance at getting his brother, Chris. But seeing he is scared of playing Ashland, that won't happen.

Mr. 300
I see what you did there!THE4RINGZ;587727 wrote:It would solidify the Wooster program therefore it won't happen. Wooster's AD has no balls both literally and figuratively. -
1_beastIf she keep the current coach, her beloved riders will continue to win!

RedRider1I think it would be a good hire and way of saying "we're here to win with the best kids, everything else be damned."
From the talk I hear, there's some talent in the middle school and Wooster may be on the upswing.....if McCreary isn't the best guy going forward, might want to make a change now.
I do think Solis brings some baggage. He left Elyria and ran his mouth heading out the door....and at Brunswick, he ran his mouth prior to being non-renewed.
How cool would it be to hire him and make a Tressel-esque speech at a Wooster basketball game (maybe against Orrville) and declare how things are about to change. That would ratchet up the old rivalry wouldn't it? -

Thank you for subscribing to my conspiracy theory.
Solis WILL NOT coach at Wooster. Too much baggage as RR1 has mentioned. And again to RR1's additional point, Wooster is loaded with talent coming out of middle school and with the current freshman class. Wooster needs to start shaping things up in order not to squander this talent. -

Great Dream...even better if it attained reality. Sorry I missed this thread...brought it up on Orrville thread and naturally....most, not all, don't like the idea.CCRolly;587074 wrote:Hey, one can dream. Solis is a guy who can turn the tide of the rivalry and usher in a new era. If not in Wooster, maybe Madison or Senior. All are longshots but it would be great for one of the large OCC teams football fortunes. -
CCRollyMike McCreary is our Eric Mangini....ugh.
-
FlashYou need Holmgren as AD. LOL
-
THE4RINGZAny change there is a change for the better.
-
riders1Hey, didn't Wooster win 7 games in 10, Holmgren, Mangini, and the Browns only won 5 in 16 chances
-
OQBWooster had more talent though than the Browns.....so they should've won more games.
