OQBI think St. Ed's is just going to be too much for those Panthers to handle!

I have to agree with this.
They are very well coached. I doubt they go into any game, and ALLOWED to think that!!! LOL -
LeonardoCalpreps.com projects Lakewood St. Edward to win, 38-14

GoEaglesThe boys of St Eds football team are so disciplined. They are extremely focused and have complete respect for every opponent they play. They are humble and don't take any game lightly. They are coached by probably the best coaching staff in the entire state. There is just something special about this team this year, a real connection between all the kids. I can guarantee you that the Eagles will come out and do what they have been doing all year, and the difference between them and most of the teams they have played is huge...they respect their opponents, prepare themselves and believe in themselves as a team, not individually.

Be Nice^^^I thought Knute Rockne died.

GoEagleswhat are you talking about?

This is impressive, for the kids to have a "real connection". Any time a group of kids that haven't played together for more than a couple of years are brought together, and they mesh, that's nice. -

Ditto for Whitmer except we have the best coaching staff because we do not "BUY" our team. They could call your team the New York Yankees. -
Con_AlmaThis thread is making me a supporter of St. Edward football.

Gr8oneSt Eds was only the 3rd seed in their region so obviously the powers that be did not think they played the best competition and were not the best team. They are beatable and they have high school kids on their team.
-
GoEaglesI understand what you are saying, but every kid that goes to St Eds choses to go there. They have to test and be accepted. It's much more disciplined than just going to any public school because you happen to live in that city. There's always people like you that have an issue with this. These kids are not bought, it's quite the opposite. The parents make incredible sacrifices to afford the tuition. Whether it be public or private school, it's about the kids, and to make a comment like that is completely innapropriate.

GoEaglesof course, any team is beatable. whitmer, st eds, hilliard and huber. they were ranked 3rd because of last season. they played the toughest schedule in the state of ohio and arguably the toughest schedule in the nation.

september63St. Eds will rout Whitmer!!

I thought it was just an act, at first, but, now I do think you are an idiot.
The Computer Points system is not a BCS ranking system. They were third, bc of the computer points, that are based on the other teams they played. Not third based on how other people voted. Do not kid your self, about St. Ed,,,,, I mean, your team finished third in Region 2 and had to come from behind in round one to beat a 7-3 Massillon team.
St Ed wins BIG TIME!!! -
rmolin73coyotes22 I was going to respond earlier but it was too venom filled. Thanks for your response because gr8noone is a bona fide idiot.

GoEaglesone last note...both ST EDS and whitmer are obviously incredibly talented teams, and deserve to be in the state semis. you don't get to the "Final Four" on luck, if you do, well then God bless ya. all i know is what i've said earlier, the EAGLES are disciplined, prepared and respect who they are playing. They know what to do, and know what to look for. As a parent with a son on the Eagles team I can tell you this, they prayed today for the best and that includes the safety and well being of their opponent. It should be quite a game tomorrow in Massillon, one that I hope to see our Eagles winning, BUT if whitmer does happen to win, our boys will know that they had a fantastic season, where they didn't bash, trash talk or play dirty to get to where they are. That's the difference between our organization and others. Our coaching staff instills quality in our kids. It is a program built on God, Family, School and Team. It is the best coaching staff not only in Ohio, but in this country. God Bless the safety, well being and health of the Eagles and the Panthers.
GO EAGLES!!! -

I will agree, the parents DO make sacrafices to afford the tuition....The ones who aren't given scholarships. -
