How many guys has your team sent to the NFL?
-
ThinthickbigredOVAC I really would like to know ....I dont have the Steubenville # off hand but somebody will get it..
-
CenterBHSFanDon't know the exact numbers off the top of my head, but I'm thinking that as far as the OVAC goes, it's probably a tie between Bellaire and Weirton.
-
ThinthickbigredBellaire got some nice ones ......Big Red is up near the top but hasnt produced as many as we should have......We havent had a guy for awhile ...... We might have a few in a few more years though
-
wildcats20Westerville South:
Ki-Jana Carter
Andy Katzenmoyer
Lance Moore
Not sure if there are others but those are the big 3. Lance's brother Nick has had a few chances but nothing panned out. He is now in the CFL. -
ThinthickbigredSteubenville Big Red has produced 15 pro football players 11in NFL 1 Calvin Jones went to the CFL back in the 50's ..He was an Outland trophy winner..My guess is the racial prblems back then but then we had a few more really great ones but race was an issue or we would probably have 20 something 3 more guys in the Arena league ..Chuck Hython should have been in the NFL and be going to the hall of fame ..thats how good he was ..I knew a few more but we still have a pretty nice #

Anthony White, RB from Kentucky during the Tim Couch era. Got picked up and was with the Packers for a little while before spending most his career in NFL Europe.
Kelly Herndon, DB from Toledo. Started in the XFL and then played primarily with the Broncos and Seahawks. Had a nice INT in the Steelers Super Bowl win under Cowher
Zoltan Mesko P from Michigan. In his rookie season with New England. He was a year younger than me and I knew him pretty well. Saw him this summer, same goofy kid as always. -
