If you dislike Steubenville football say why here.

ThinthickbigredFor all you guys that dont like...Hate....or disrespect steubenville Big Red football state reasons and have at it ...
-
ernest_t_bassBecause of fans like you...
-
queencitybuckeyeThe program is great. A small, overly vocal part of the fanbase are low rent jack-wagons.
-
CenterBHSFanI respect Big Red football.
But as the others above me have stated, some of their "fans" on some of the message boards are totally off the wall and probably a little nuts. -
skankEvery school has a portion of their fan base that gets overzealous, let's call it 10% across the board. Steubenvilles fan base is so large, that their 10% covers alot more people than most schools.
Trust me, I've seen fan bases from Ignatius, St. X, Elder, St. Edward....Schools that "presumably" put out a much better class of people. Of those four schools, St. Edward is the only one that showed extreme class, wether we won, or they won. -
GoPensRespect the program. Their message board fans are obnoxious.

fish82The fact that this thread even exists pretty much sums it up, IMO.

GoChiefsWheres the thread for the ones that don't care either way about Big Red football??
-
coyotes22TTBR,,, You cant be serious right now.
Last year, before the Massillon/Steubenville game,,,,,,,,,,,,, over on JJH the thread for that game was hilarious. And we all got along. I think our schools are very similar, and our fan base, for both schools, are two of the best in the state. I get along with quit a few Big Red posters now, because of JJH,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but, its threads like this, and the way you have talked about Massillon (since the spray paint incident), that give Big Red a bad name.
And knowing the few BR fans, its almost like being in a club. And if your not careful, you may find your self on the outside, looking in.
Dude, just stop. Take a break. Leave for a few months, collect yourself, regroup, and come back when things have settled down. I know Im getting tired of seeing your crappy post every day.
JMHO -
Mr. FootballBecause they recuit all the kids from other area teams!!!

J-DoverThose of you who don't like the fan base, is because your fan base SUCKS! Big Red not only has a great program and tradition, they have the best fans ever. They expect to win every game and get pi-s-s-e-d when they don't= great fan base.
-
wags6817Very simple, because I went to Wintersville.

Actually, you couldn't be more wrong. Stop, take a breath, and read the comments again.J-Dover;556166 wrote:Those of you who don't like the fan base, is because your fan base SUCKS! Most are saying that it's not the players/program that they don't like. Most are saying it's not even the whole fanbase that they don't like.
Most are saying that it's a certain few, mainly on message boards, who act all weird, flaky, and a little nuts.
Now, how you can construe that to what you posted, I have no idea. -
Rebel_ I.N.S.I'm a Big Red fan & I don't like some of the fans we have.

Why I dislike Stupidville football: Guys like you. The End. -

Indeed. I don't care one way or another about Steubenville football (not my part of the state and no team I follow has played them as far as I know unless Marion Pleasant did one year in the D-IV playoffs...can't remember if it was Steub or Mooney who beat them), but from the old Huddle to here, they've had that percent of obnoxious fans who seem to feel like high school football isn't high school football unless Steubenville is at the center of discussion.
It's the mid-way point of Week 12 and at this moment, the top part of page one of this forum is dominated by threads started today along the "why do you like us/why don't you like us/guess which OVAC team has made the state finals the most (wink, wink, you know who!)/we've had a lot of pro FB players/talk about US US USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" style. -

I bet you'd like them if they recruited Girls Basketball players....Or Girls Softball players....Or Boys Basketball players for that matter.
Or kids from Texas to play DB. Or if their kids beat up and robbed a pizza man. Or if their kids took "illegal substances" to a school dance, (two years in a row). Or if after the Massillon game their star player flipped off the crowd. Or if their coach didn't know which way to drive on a one way street. Forget that last comment, he was practically unable to discern that night, which, in and of itself is a whole nother problem. -

You're right. Why the hell would we let multiple threads go of the same thing? When that happens, the threads are either MERGED (like yours) or one is DELETED. It was a 2011 Big Red thread. Which was already started. It doesn't matter who started it, it was still already started. Quit being all butt hurt about it. You're just pissed b/c you didn't get to start it. -
BigYtownRedLove Big Red football can't stand the way some of the keyboard kowboys that supposedly represent the program act, whine or complain on here.
If Reno or another coach was a member of the Chatter & started a thread like this I would get rid of my season tickets & never attend another game. Class is getting beat, shaking hands, congratulating the other team then getting down to the business of next year after a time of reflection & rest.
If you honestly respect the leadership of the program act like it.
RRR lookin forward to 2011 -
