  VAN WERT — Van Wert built a 20-0 lead by halftime and held off Shawnee in the WBL finale. Van Wert finishes the season 5-5 overall, 4-5 in the WBL while Shawnee is 2-8, 2-7.
  
  Conner Massillo scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter and finished with 128 yards rushing on 20 carries for Van Wert. Corey Clifton passed for 143 yards and two touchdowns both to Donnie Sites for TDs of 47 and 54 yards. Clifton also had a conversion pass to Austin Fleming.
  
  Shawnee came up with scores in the fourth when Sam Altenbach scored on a 17-yard run and Donnell Irons had a 7-yard score. Altenbach finished with 199 yards on 24 carries.
