NEW WASHINGTON — Brady Weber completed 10 of 27 passes for 123 yards as Riverdale fell 48-3 to Buckeye Central in a North Central Conference football game Friday evening.
Riverdale is now 4-5 overall and 1-5 in the NCC while Buckeye Central is 8-1, 5-1 NCC.
Riverdale scored the first points with a 22-yard field goal from Steven Rahn and could not manage to find the endzone again.
Alex Finney scored on rushes of 5, 51 and six yards for Buckeye Central. Tyler Erwin scored on a 18-yard rush then hooked up with Adam Paynter and Justin Herrnstein on TD passes of 15 and 30 yards. Austin Hood scored on a 10-yard run.
Justin Wells recorded five carries for 14 yards and had three receptions for 33 yards for the Falcons.
Buckeye Central’s Finney had 19 carries for 157 yards while Erwin completed 8 of 13 passes for 173 yards.
Riverdale rushed 17 times for 12 yards while Buckeye Central had 58 rushes for 294 yards.
