LEIPSIC — Leipsic really got the message after its early-season loss and every Blanchard Valley Conference team the Vikings have played since has paid the price.
Cory-Rawson (4-5 overall, 3-5 BVC) was the victim Friday night as Leipsic (8-1, 7-1) notched its sixth straight victory by over 30 points with a 54-0 win over the Hornets.
Seven different Viking players found the end zone in the win.
Derek Mangas scored twice with a 4-yard run giving Leipsic an early 7-0 lead and then returned an interception 80 yards in the third quarter to make the score 48-0.
Brady Schroeder accumulated 53 all-purpose yards on five touches and scored twice on runs of 13 and 5 yards.
Trevor Schroeder, who ran for 103 yards and a 13-yard touchdown, Brady Schnipke (1-yard run) and Devin Mangas (87-yard run) also got to the end zone on the ground.
Liam Nadler was 15 of 22 passing for 214 yards and fired a 26-yard scoring strike to Dylan Niese.
Adam Rosendale ran for 51 yards on 7 carries and James Rader rushed 5 times for 59 yards for Cory-Rawson, which was held to 173 total yards.
