-
ZalKathas an Ohio State fan I envy West Virginia getting Heard...
-
kathyjaneWhy did Ohio State not land this kid?
-

-
Mr. 300Any chance he decommits from WVU????
-
killer_ewokThat was, without a doubt, one of the most amazing individual performances I've ever seen in person. Heard is a man. He kicks it into a different gear after that first step or two. Wow.

Because they didn't offer him a scholarship. Braylon is one of the best backs in the state but obviously doesn't fit into OSU's plans. Maybe they can offer that stud QB from Steuby though. -
PreacherThat was an amazing effort. How did UC not jump on this kid?
I understand that OSU can't get every kid in the state but how does a talent like that leave the state? -
Mooney44CardsUC offered him.

I wouldn't mind seeing Macon go to OSU as an athlete like Troy Smith did...Dean Wormer wrote:kathyjane wrote: Why did Ohio State not land this kid?

boaterGreat speed and vision -saw and took advantage of cut back lanes, but that line blocking for him was just as impressive in my opinion?
-
77LegendHeard could have fit into OSU's system and plans IMO. Politics us Usual.

Agreed, the back always gets too much credit and blame. He wasn't even touched on most of his long runs.boater wrote: Great speed and vision -saw and took advantage of cut back lanes, but that line blocking for him was just as impressive in my opinion? -
77LegendAgreed. For the 1st 5 yards, yes give that credit to the O-Line, but after that was pure speed and vision.
-
wgh raider77 legend when the Oline is blowing out holes a semi could drive thru the back is on his way.
-
ErnieDOhio State doesn't want him so that qualifies as "Politics as usual"?
-
kathyjanewhat would Ohio State see that would steer tham away from this kid? Am I missing something?
-
pooter
That's because most of his long runs came from the option...ridgerunner88 wrote:
