I mean a family of 4 to attend a game:

    2 adult tickets: $12
    2 student tickets $8
    Gas to drive there: $20
Dinner on way to game: $ 35
    Food at game: $15

Total for a family of 4 to attend a game.... $90.00

That is a lot of money if you think about it for one high school football game. I know Orrville isn't the only town that has families in the lower classes that could not afford this. Which is sad we have to charge so much for a game.

ok so it must be an away game in order to spend 20 bucks on gas because we'll say 15 miles to the gallon 3 bucks a gallon thats 105 miles there and back.. where do u play ur games?.. and why pay $15 on food if ur eating on the way home? I figure its more like $60 or $65 instead of $90.. which is still kinda high but lets not over exaggerate... Its still cheaper than taking ur family to the movies

^^^I like your post. lol Facts are facts and some do exacurate. We can conclude that many drive semi's to away games and eat at Long Horn Restaurants while driving there. lol

Haha. I was thinking the exact same things but was too lazy to do the math and post about it.

^^^and yes kids will be kids. Thank you, Mustaffa, for showing us all how to spell that word.

Anyway, back to the thread. As mentioned I do expect the state champion to come from this division.

I wasn't sure if you meant exacerbate or exaggerate, so I decided to look up which one was more likely according to dictionary.com.

Haven't seen the scores from other teams in this division except Jonathan Alder which beat a 5-3 D III team 77-7.

    Huh?

A State Championship comes form this division every year.

^^^lol...sorry, I meant to say region. lol

Practically the first 6 teams in this region are ranked in the top ten state poll for that division.

2-Time defending D-IV state champion Kettering Archbishop Alter is in R-16

Clinton Massie being ranked #1 in this division and state poll is a joke. Basically, all of their points are coming off of Jonathan Alder victories. Massie would have at least 2 losses if they played the same schedule Alder has. It's a shame the voters didn't see how they won the JA game. Recovering a fumble on the 2 and running a blocked punt in from the 12 yards out plus Alder missing a 19 yard field goal with 1:32 left in the game......Happy Birthday Massie. That 28-27 win by Massie is very, very decieving.

Alder plays St. Charles, a Div. 2 team, away this week. This will be a very tough game for Alder. Massie again plays a cupcake Div. 5 team that's won games over teams that have hardly won any.

A joke? Probably more misleading. Alter is king until somebody in Region 16 beats them. That hasn't happened in a few years. Massie or Kenton has the best chance of the remaining teams this year. BTW, I'm not an Alter fan, just realistic.

^^^Alter lost again last night at home and from what I was told to a team with a losing record. Maybe a queen, but sure in the hell not the king. They must be having a bad year recruiting.

BTW...Alder won last night and totally dominated St. Charles at St. Charles 39-20. It could have got a lot ughlier. One Alder touchdown was called back.
