DOLA — Liberty-Benton rushed for 344 yards Friday night and the Eagles beat Hardin Northern 55-0 in a Blanchard Valley Conference game to keep their Region 18 playoff hopes alive.
Brady Vaught led the way with 132 yards rushing and a 47-yard touchdown on 14 carries.
Jed Miller also had a big night for Liberty-Benton (6-2, 6-1 BVC) making the most of his seven carries. Miller rushed for 105 yards and scored touchdowns of 3 and 44 yards and also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown.
Zac Cramer was 5 of 5 passing for 79 yards and threw a 31-yard touchdown to Eric Stanton. He also ran for 48 yards and scored on jaunts of 19 and 4 yards.
Seth Davis caught two passes for 28 yards and returned an interception 82 yards for a score.
Tommy Wheeler rushed for 57 yards and Logan Price added 44 yards on the ground for the Polar Bears (0-8, 0-7).
