  I dont know if its my spelling or typing that lacks . I didnt proof read anything for sure. Anyway Massillon football is the Mecca of high school football in the USA and I am making the pilgrimage to the mother land for the first time to see Massillon Junior college play the Jefferson county River Rats! May the game be entertaining but injury free.

  Its cool just having fun . Letting some of the folk know that we are not looked on in the same light as we look at Massillon.
  Down here probably 90% of our fans feel privaledged and proud to be able to take on our former AAC member. Most of us have a whole lot of respect and admiration for the Tiger program . It is one that any high school kid in that area should be proud to be a part of . You guys dont owe us the same ,Its up to you . We are proud of everything we have achieved at Big Red as well . Maybe after the game we will garner some more respect from a few more people in Massillon. You will see we will come in droves but you do not need police in riot gear and you dont have to kids squeezing mustard on your band members ,and you wont see any of our first cousin husbands and wifes playing kiss kiss in the stands as we frown on that at our place. Lets just hope for a clean hard fought no ref interferring game and then we can shake hands and wish each other well . Although if we lose to you I will be ruined for a long time.

  Some Steubenville people can't spell; that's why it'd take a lot of errors before I call anyone out on their grammar or spelling!

  Ah wow it was not just the door it was half way down the side of the building. Sorry i have to think that it is possible that Steubenville could have went down there and did that. I came from a school that did all that stuff back in the day. Burned the schools Name in the middle of the field the night before the game. or they burned down our concession stands one year. and this went on for years. nothing wrong with a little rivalry. but steubenville needs to lighten up some your not the kings of Ohio. there are plenty of schools where i come from and one in particular that has had big reds number for years.

  I know we get alot of jokes from the greater metropolis of the Canton / Massilon area. That wasnt done by any Big Red high school kids . That is a 4 hour round trip and how would they know there wasnt security and then they would face expolsion and jail time noway . Former Steubenville kids that go to college up in that area I doubt as well even if drunk but that would be the only logical way one of our people did it . I dont think Massillon people did it either but I think that is a greater probability than drunk college students. I think it was some people up in the Massillon area that dont like Massillon . Maybe Perry ,maybe Hoover ,maybe McKinley who knows . Its cheap and disgusting and whoever does that kind of crap needs punished with some major hours on public services . Whoever the heck did that did our town and team a major disservice and I am more pizzed about this crap than any Massillon fan . And to think that your team will get an extra charge out of this makes me even more angry . I dont want any of our guys getting a crack back or something crazy because of emotions out of hand . These guys are not pro players ,they are not college players . They are 16and 17 year old kids.

  Everybody has had teams beaten them . Mooney has been the best team in all of Ohio as a whole over the past ten years. Although Coldwater has had their way against them . It happens to us all . We been getting alot of jive about our past and thats fine but we havent played Massillon for the past 30 years. until last year . They may win Friday but Ill tell you this we wont shame our town and we wont quit or make excuses. i know they will be ready for us and they have some very nice D-1 talent . This game is a toss up to me . It will depend on our Qb play and our Db play. those areas will be critical.

  Got to hand it to them . They got Devon Torrance his senior year from Canton South . He is starting at Ohio State now. Isnt Orrville a couple of counties away ? How do they get those players?

  Orrville is 15-20 minutes away from Massillon, we are Wayne County, they are Stark county and they touch each other. Zwick was in my brother's class, and I believe they gave his dad a job with the school and he went there thinking he would get more exposure. He would've still gone to OSU if he played his last two years at Orrville. With him we won the state championship in 1998, and went to the final 4 in 1999, then he bolted.
  
  Orrville has had plenty of Division I recruits, and has in the last 3 years had 4 guys go division I, and I believe we have about 15-18 guys playing in college right now. As far as how they do it, I'm not sure, but I can't really say anything because Orrville has had some really good athlete's move in to the district as well.

  No they got his brother Devoe Torrence who's riding the pine at Akron.

  We usually get transfers at the Junior high level or the elementary school level . Mainly for academics,but I wish all the local kids went to our school . I dont deny that . You guys have a much wider range of big schools from all around you. Actually I think you guys should be more like Mooney . Thery are the best.

  Now, I don't really care if they did or didn't, as I don't have a dog in the fight. But regardless, to think high school kids wouldn't do that is just stupid. THINK ABOUT WHEN YOU WERE 16 OR 17. Did you really think or care about consequences of your actions? Wouldn't you drive 4 hours round trip to look badass in front of your friends? Do you think they gave a thought about security? Expulsion? Jail time? Their kids. Some don't think before they act. Like I said, to think Big Red students wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that is stupid. Every school has 'those' kids. Big Red is no exception.
