FREMONT — Zak Bowman rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns Friday night as first-place Fremont St. Joseph came from behind to hand Hopewell-Loudon a 24-14 Midland Athletic League loss at Don Paul Stadium.
Bowman ran for touchdowns of six yards, three yards and 38 yards as the Crimson Streaks rallied from a 17-3 third-quarter deficit to improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the MAL.
Paul Wendt gave the Streaks an early 3-0 lead on a 38-yard field goal, but Tyler Tyree, who threw for 208 yards on 19-for-38 passing, gave the Chieftains (4-2, 1-2) a 7-3 lead when he hit Austin Harrison with a 10-yard scoring pass in the third quarter.
Tyree later threw three yards to Harrison for a touchdown.
