  Todays article from Porter says alot, here it is....with my thoughts.
  
  Solon Looking
  
  Solon High School, a playoff contender that is capable of pushing most Federal League teams, (most? Todd, stop being dillusional, there is no most about it....all),is looking for a week 3 opponent next season. So far, Solon has been shunned by most Stark County Federal League schools. (of course they have, look at the overall non-conference schedules of the Fed since like 1996, pathetic.) Solon has contacted Garcia, who also is GlenOaks athletic director, about playing next year. GlenOak would seem to be a stretch. It is talking with Massillon about extending the home and home deal that had the two teams playing in week 2 the last two seasons. (Ok....Massillon is playing GlenOak in week 2 Solon wants a game in week 3....what's the problem?) Adding Solon is probably biting off more than GlenOak can chew. Certainly though, if Solon wants to play a Stark County school it can wheel and deal with Massillon. (Whoa whoa whoa Toddy, slow down here son, all I've heard over the last six or so years is how the Federal League is the best league/conference in the state, and now you want Massillon to do all the heavy lifting for the county? And then what, if Massillon loses, all we hear about is how the rest of the county has caught up, despite them playing the Greens and Centrals and Painsville Riversides, while Massillon plays the Solons, Ignatius', Warrens, Moellers, Mentors and such?) Or, if the Federal League is one of the best leagues in Ohio, (it's not), someone in the league will take the challenge of playing Solon.

  Maybe Fitch could move it's Week 3 game with the Canadian team to 4pm, then play Solon at 7? .......Thought from Gardens......

  Austintown has never been a part of Stark County. Anyway, by then, you guys won't be a part of the Federal League either.

  Well then...how 'bout Massillon's Canadian team and Fitch's Canadian team stay in Canada and play each other.......Fitch beats Massillon at 4 then Solon at 7? Solved.
