SPENCERVILLE -- Jordan Travis had a huge evening and Columbus Grove smoked Spencerville 62-22 Friday night in a Northwest Conference game.
Travis was 8 of 9 passing for 188 yards as the Bulldogs churned out 503 total yards. He found Colby Meuleman for touchdown passes of 50, 11 and 20 yards and Wade Heffner for a 14-yard score.
Jacob Miller ran for 75 yards and touchdowns of 28 and 20 yards.
Zach Barrientes (6-yard run), Dakota Vogt (4-yard run) and Hunter Giesige (1-yard run) also found the end zone for the Bulldogs (3-2 overall, 2-2 NWC).
This marks the first time that Columbus Grove has been over .500 at the midway point of the season since 2005. Spencerville (0-5, 0-4) has now lost 16 straight games overall and 12 in a row in the NWC.
