BLUFFTON -- Konnor Baker spent Friday night tearing apart the Bluffton defense.
The Ada quarterback threw for 331 yards and five touchdowns as he guided the unbeaten Bulldogs to a 42-6 victory over the Pirates in a Northwest Conference encounter.
Baker connected with Alex Weber on his first three TD passes in the second quarter, covering 13, 80 and 33 yards to give the sixth-ranked Bulldogs a 21-0 advantage.
Weber finished with 12 catches for 215 yards.
Baker, who was 20 of 34 through the air, hit Jacob Ansley and Weber on TD passes in the second half as Ada (5-0, 3-0 NWC) secured its fourth consecutive win over the Pirates (2-3, 1-2).
Hunter Joseph completed a 49-yard TD pass to Jacob Nienberg in the second quarter to account for Bluffton's only points of the night. The two-point conversion attempt failed as Ada went into halftime with a 21-6 advantage.
Ada rolled up 601 yards of offense while limiting the Pirates to 282 yards. The Bulldogs forced five turnovers and turned the ball over three times.
Joseph led the Bluffton offense, hitting 15 of 33 passes for 265 yards.
