Just east of Youngstown, Ohio. The city is an old steel mill town that is bordered by the Mahoning River.

I'm not that old so i can only remember who i remember. But I'm going with someone that is from what i seen very underrated and talented. even if he didn't go on to be a somebody like Patton For YSU or a Deland McCullough that made it to the NFL but had a pre season injury to his knee. Deland McCullough led all running backs in the preseason till that happen. One could only wonder if that didn't happen. But My pick is Toby Gregory Walker. The kid can single handily change the game. He was so tough to bring down and he was Campbell's equivalent to the Bus. Go ahead see if you could bring him down. I remember that he saved our season with i think Ursuline it might have been Mooney. but it was a real close game and if we didn't score on that drive it was season over. he made a few key first down runs and i believe he made the deciding touchdown but for some reason i think it was a field goal. and he also was very tough! And here is why. Huddlers remind me if i get this all wrong. But it was i think the 88 season and it was a game at Salem and did he not blow out his knee in that game. i remember a home game they brought out a lawn chair recliner and set him up to watch the game. he was all smiles. But he came back and help Campbell become the 89 team that made history! So i would vote him in. I can not remember but i think he got into a lot of trouble after high school. And i think that is a shame when you cant be honored for anything you did after school in sports or community but get into trouble after you are black balled from the hall. The two that is Patton Walker was the 89 team and we honer them as a team that ended a decade of red devil power of the MVC and playoffs.

A few of these may already be in the HOF. But in case they aren't, here are a few of my choices. I know I am missing a few. Melvin Land, Al Craig, John Koulianous, Rich Randall, Tom Ciccolelli, Frank Rossi, Tim King, Jim Hazimihalis, Toby Walker, Shawn Patton, Stav Diamandes, Drew Ginnis, Archie Petracci, Al DiRenzo, Walter Vrabel.

Bigdean you know. Tim king and Jim hazimihalis are fine choices. Tim King was brutal on the line. Dominic Thomas might be another player over looked. He would open holes in a big way... He was a very big kid. Not a fast kid but very very strong and could take on two defenders and make holes a mack truck could drive through. I wish i could google some of campbell's teams from the past and find some stats on them. heck i know there was a video of the 89 team that was sold at the school when i went back then. i had one but over the years i moved and it got lost. I was going to make a video on YouTube with it for last years 20th anniversary and put it on my YouTube account. But i could not find it. i thought it would be nice to to type up Campbell memorial and find some old clips on you tube or even some highlights of our teams. But all you get is Campbell county.
