LIMA — Tyler O’Connor and Bubba Krieg continued their effective offensive play and Lima Central Catholic rolled to a 37-6 Northwest Conference win over Columbus Grove.
O’Connor and Krieg, who hooked up for three touchdowns last week, each had big nights.
O’Connor, who rushed for touchdown runs of three and 10 yards, connected with Krieg for touchdown passes of 61 and 42 yards.
Krieg also added a four yard rushing touchdowns for the Thunderbirds (3-1 overall, 3-0 NWC) as they outgained the Bulldogs 428-234.
O’Connor finished the night 12-19 passing for 217 yards and ran for 108 yards, while Krieg gained 123 yards receiving on four catches.
Devin Verhoff, who found the end zone from four yards out, led Columbus Grove (2-2, 1-2) with 12 rushes for 41 yards.
Jordan Travis was 7-10 passing for 91 yards for the Bulldogs.
