BUCYRUS — Brady Weber completed 34 of 54 passes for 490 yards and accounted for all six of Riverdale’s touchdowns as the Falcons fell 49-42 in a North Central Conference football game Friday evening.
The Falcons drove the length of the field to the Bucyrus four yard line late in the fourth quarter when Riverdale faulse started. Bucyrus then ran a couple plays and eventually kneed the ball to end the game.
Weber scored the first touchdown for Riverdale on a 22-yard carry and later scored on a 14-yard rush. Weber connected with Rick Duffman on TD passes of 51 and 26 yards then hooked up with Steven Rahn on TD passes of 36 and 28 yards.
Britt Cox led the way for Bucyrus with 26 rushes for 217 yards. Cox scored on rushes of 35, 7, 4, 3 and 52 while Eric Witten scored on a 16-yard carry. Christian Ross returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.
Weber recorded 17 carries for 57 yards for the Falcons. Rahn had nine receptions for 177 yards and Duffman recorded six receptions for 136 yards.
