COLUMBUS GROVE — Jacob Miller was a one-man wrecking crew for Columbus Grove Friday night.
Miller ran for two touchdowns and caught a pair of TD passes as the Bullogs blasted Allen East 42-7 in their Northwest Conference opener.
Miller thrilled the crowd at Clymer Stadium early, bolting 46 yards for a score as CG took a lead it would never give up.
Miller caught TD passes of 72 and 29 yards from Jordan Travis in the second quarter and ran 4 yards for a score as CG went into halftime up 28-7.
The Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0 NWC) rolled up 390 yards, the second consecutive week it has put up at least that many yards, while limiting the Mustangs to 207.
Travis was 9 of 13 for 233 yards, his third and final scoring strike finding the hands of Luke Kohls with 1:20 left in the third.
The Bulldogs tallied three interceptions and recovered one fumble.
