NORTH BALITMORE — Toledo Woodward may have been the big school coming in, but North Baltimore put a big 58-12 whipping on the Division II Polar Bears Friday night in non-conference action.
Three different North Baltimore (2-0) rushers ran for at least 50 yards and the Tigers gained 265 yards on the ground in the game.
Dalton Ishmael led the charge with 84 yards and scoring rushes of nine, seven and eight yards.
Michael South added 62 yards and scurried in for a five-yard score. Jonathon Long had 51 yards and had a four-yard touchdown.
North Baltimore quarterback Clinton Ebright was 5-8 passing for 63 yards and ran for a three-yard plunge.
The Tigers defense held the Polar Bears to 12 rushing yards and also forced a safety.
North Baltimore was forced to play Toledo Woodward, which lost its 25th straight game, because Danbury cancelled its scheduled game with the Tigers on Monday.
