FINDLAY - Mitch Linhart completed 13 of 16 passes for 233 yards and accounted for five of Liberty-Benton’s six touchdowns to help the Eagles blank Van Buren 42-0 in a Blanchard Valley Conference football game Friday night.
Linhart connected with Dakota Conkle on a 17-yard TD pass and hooked up with Seth Davis on scoring passes of 44 and 65 yards. Brady Vaught scored on a 12-yard carry while Linhart went 11 and 2 yards for TDs.
Davis pulled down four passes for 137 yards.
Van Buren’s Ryan Adolph completed 13 of 23 passes for 132 yards and two interceptions. Jacob Sexton had 12 rushed for 50 yards and Brandon Lucas had six catches for 39 yards.
