Johnstown(1-0) @ Heath(1-0)

HeathAlum21Johnstown handled Granville via a powerful rushing attack by the score of 41-14. However, Granville will probably be approximately 5-5 ;they will be helped along by a weak lower half of the conference. Heath pitched a shut-out without a few starters to the tune of 33-0. Middletown-Madison will probably only win a few games this year as well. It should be a good one. Thoughts?

ksig489Johnstown looked good against Granville. Big and physical with speed in the right places. Their D wasn't really tested though. They have their hands full with Heath. Im saying Heath by a score in this one...but I wouldn't be surprised to see it the other way.

Thee DogsOne hell of a football game with Heath coming out on top 21-15. Both teams left nothing on the field in this one. Heath did squander a couple of scoring opportunities with turnovers and a lack of kicking game. But I'll give the Johnnies credit for hanging tough and playing hard for 4 quarters. The Bulldog in me was happy to see Heath move the ball by mixing it up with the ground game and through the air. Benner is showing his maturity at qb and speedy tailback Simpson is still a work in progress but showing some serious potential. Heath D was solid up front anchored by Drumm and Libby at LBs. DT Wolfe had a big game as did Drumm who had a late interception to seal the deal for Heath. Look for both of these teams to make some noise in week 11!
