1.Monroe Central- Still the team to beat until they get beat. 2.Fort Frye-Put a beatdown on River. 3.Caldwell- I think Ntown has a good team 4.Shenandoah nice win susprised me. 5.Frontier-Tough loss to the Zeps sound like a good game. 6.River-Mccalm and Caldwell have talent.Defense is awful.6.Trail-Just not enough talent.

Tough to do this so early in the season, but i'll try.

    As of right now.
    1. Monroe Central - Sounded like they pretty much cruised against Columbiana, until cramps hit multiple players. Conditioning an issue?
    2. Caldwell - This is where it gets tough. Fort Frye pretty much destroyed River while Caldwell only won by 1 TD, but in my eyes, Caldwell played the tougher opponent.
    3. Fort Frye - Destroyed River. Had a good balance on offense. 3 turnovers though, although some of those could have been from the JV.
    4. Shenandoah - Big win for them. They've got talent. Line play will be key for them throughout the season. They've got to give Hurst time.
    5. Frontier - Tough loss and could hurt them again come playoff time, just like last year. I was expecting more from Fick and Co.
    6. River - Know nothing about them. Looks like a few players could be decent.
    7. Trail - Not getting any better for them.

You could pretty much flip a coin for the order of Caldwell and Fort Frye.

    1. MC- They will eventually play themselves into shape. Might cost them against Shadyside, but the cramping will eventually go away. It'll take a colosal effort for a PVC team to knock them off.

    2. Fort Frye- I know Caldwell had the more impressive win and I agree you can flip a coin between the two, but the Fort is rolling.

    3. Caldwell- Should be an easy game against Trail to tune up for a big 2 game stretch against Barnesville and MC.

    4. Shenandoah- Climbing up the standings. The gap is close between 2 through 5.

    5. Frontier- Big loss and a big blow to their playoff points. A brutal schedule that I think they needed this win to get some points. This team needs to learn to close games out.

    6. River- Downgrading them from what I thought could be a .500 season to maybe 2 or 3 wins. They may be young but they are getting as much game experience as some juniors and seniors have. Must be undersized too.

    7. Trail- yeah.

I think young Eli Hurst is going to be a stud singal caller for the Zeps.I like the Sophmore class Qbs-Hurst Zeps,Caldwell Pilots,Shon SmithFF.

Hurst a stud signal caller? Not this year... He still has 2 years though.

Did you miss the "is going to be" part? Doesn't necessarily mean he's talking about this year.

I'll agree with Kapono though. Hurst has the potential to be a pretty good QB.

Just think he has a chance to Fick like in 2 years.
