2010 HSF Weekly pickem - Signup end August 20th

coyotes22I was thinking of running one this year. If you would like to be in it, vote yes on the poll.
It will be mostly Stark county, and a few schools in the out-lying area. I will probably include Steubenville and Logan HS. A few Wayne Ct teams. And maybe a Big Div. I game every week.
I have been part of these before, but never ran one, so bear with me.
I know it is only June, but, I want an idea of how many of you yahoos will be in it this year.
Thanks,
coyotes22 -
GoChiefsI think you would draw more interest if you included the whole state...not just one section. Like, do 25 games each week, but each week, mix it up with different teams. Not just the same ones every week.
-
coyotes22Well, lets get some ideas and agree on them, sounds fine to me.
Let the people decide!! -
GoChiefsWhat's the prize for first place?
-
Big Al CarterA paper title, if coyotes is running it.

Maybe mASSillon will loan him one of their paper titles, to give to our champion, also. Or, he could just Xerox it? -

Skank and coyotes share a bed, so Im sure he will share the paper titles. -
Al CaponeBefore they give one of them up I hope they clean them off first, if you know what I mean.
-
Al CaponeStrapping Young Lad will have something to say about it though, as I believe he sleeps in between them.
-

What does everyone think of this:
24 games per week- one game per Region, per Division
25th game will be a tie breaker from one division each week
So each week may look something like this:
Week One:
Div. I:
Reg. 1- A vs B
Reg. 2- A vs B
Reg. 3- A vs B
Reg. 4- A vs B
Div. II:
Reg. 5- A vs B
Reg. 6- A vs B
Reg. 7- A vs B
Reg. 8- A vs B
Div. III:
Reg. 9- A vs B
Reg. 10- A vs B
Reg. 11- A vs B
Reg. 12- A vs B
Div. IV:
Reg. 13- A vs B
Reg. 14- A vs B
Reg. 15- A vs B
Reg. 16- A vs B
Div. V:
Reg. 17- A vs B
Reg. 18- A vs B
Reg. 19- A vs B
Reg. 20- A vs B
Div VI:
Reg. 21- A vs B
Reg. 22- A vs B
Reg. 23- A vs B
Reg. 24- A vs B
Tie Breaker:Predict the final
Div. I
Team A- 35 Team B- 14
And with the program that I am using, each week, if you could just type the one team, do not highlight, as it will not show up when I paste it.
What does every one think of this format? -

The only problem with that is that you won't always get games that way. You could spread it out to do like 4 games per each division. -

Good idea, and we could have Hoovers coach present it to the winner at the end of the year....Wait....is he still in jail? No? Ok, then that's what we'll do. -

You "believe"? You "believe"? Come on man admit it, your mom saw them in there and she told you. Right?... Right? -

You know the funny thing here? Seriously, and I don't mean this sexually or anything, but your favorite coach, coach Hertler, LITERALLY, shared a bed with your star player. Again, no sexual inuendo here, but really, he did.
This my friend, is called poetic justice. -

Yes, yes, Strapping Young Lad DOES sleep between us, by the way, why do you call your mom Strapping Young Lad? -
GoChiefsAlright boys, this can't continue in here. Take it the the 'Serious Business' forums please.
-
coyotes22why do my threads always get hijacked?
