Columbus DeSales def. Bishop Watterson 24-10

    What a game.
The QB for DeSales is a great running QB who seems to be able to throw just enough to kke the defense honest.
Watching Griffen run was fun he seems to give 110% on each carry.

    Good luck next week DeSales.

Congratulations to DeSales. Defensive front looked really good.

Score is definitely deceiving..was a great game..game went down to the end..can't believe #32 dropped that ball on the final drive.

It was a great game. #60 from DeSales was an Iron man. Played both ways on OL and DL would leave during special teams plays and then return for the next series.

#35 MLB from DeSales also played a monster of a game as well.

I was at the game as well. Sat with my sister and brother in Law on the Watterson side. Watterson just didn't have enough beef up front to slow down the DeSales ground game.

The most interesting thing was I saw a certain someone with double initials between I and K roaming the sidelines. I think he was buying hot dogs with the little bit of money he may have raked in.

I was at the game too! Interesting, I noticed "him" too on the sidelines with me. Very good game, covered this back in week 7 also!

Another good one tonight. Watty just could not sustain a drive. DeSales nearly let them right back in with a blown coverage late in the game. Feel bad for #32 - just couldn't pull that pass in. Would have been for huge yards if not a t99 yard touchdown. Gentile was the real deal tonight along with Griffin - Ball looked good early but didn't see him in the 2nd half much, if at all. Hope he is not hurt.

Watched this game on TV last night. Hard to imagine Desales rus the offense they do and are very successful at it. Was like watching Navy play. Desales QB is fun to watch.

and I bet JJ did not have to pay for his ticket like everyone else
  • 77Legend
^^^Of course not, why would he have to pay?

I don't see a big win on Wyomings' schedule. Looks like a weak one compared to DeSales, Mooney, and BigReds schedules. I see the Stallions getting this next game over early.

JJ is a long time DeSales fan and buddy with former coach Jacoby. Enough to make you wanna root for Wyoming right there

He may be, but he will always tell you his allegience lies with Watterson. He either went there, or sent his children there (possibly both).

I am sure he went to Columbus Ready.
  • FanOfCats
I believe he did go to Ready NCF. I think his kids went the Watterson
  • Wes Segar
His kids did go to watterson

I thought I might "draw him out" with the DeSales fan comment...he hates DeSales. Because we all know he is prowling the freehuddle under some alias.

I don't know if it really would have made much difference, but I would have liked to see Watterson play this game with their starting senior quarterback.
