    Unbelievable! I'm numb.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Regardless of his prowess on the field this is a young man who had his entire life ahead of him.

its a very sad story and the city of hilliard will miss this young man.

still waiting to hear the details though, the quarry is a very hard place to drown. RIP Rico.

RIP Rico......tcarrier,how deep is the water there?
  • GoChiefs
From what I seen in the dispatch..it said about 10 feet deep.
  • soccer_dad
    Exactly,unfortunately plenty deep enough.
  • End of Line
The quarry they were swimming at was about 10mins away from my house. Marble Cliff is where I believe they were.

    RIP Rico.

It was directly across from Peabody landscaping on Dublin Rd.

    First off, RIP Rico.

But really quarry's aren't hard to drown in. They are very dangerous. Pickerington lost one of theirs back in 2003, Trey Hunter.

If you get caught in a pocket, you're done. Not even Michael Phelps could survive if he caught. It's very unfortunate.
