rmolin73Thoughts?

bigkahunaDoes Napoleon come into the league this year or next year?
-
champ01I think that the League is up for grabs. i personally think that probably 6 different teams have a shot at winning it, if things fall there way. Their seems that we don't really have one dominate teams coming back this year.

I believe that Napoleon comes into the league next year in 2011.bigkahuna wrote: Does Napoleon come into the league this year or next year? -
BGbigman75I think this year you will see a much more competitive Bowling Green team then in the past with the new coaches. They may not win a ton but they will finish games a lot better then the last few years.

NLLBESTMaumee loses 4 of 5 o-lineman but should replace them with less experienced but bigger underclassmen. Key Players should be: Eric Long rb/olb Jake Schnieder qb/cb Evan Karchner ol/mlb and 3 seniors who have seen limited varstiy time at wr and safety/cb/olb but should do well.

sniper_8Did Springfields coach leave?
-
rmolin73Yes Springfield's coach is leaving which in my opinion hurt's their team. I also think that the league will be between 3 possible teams with another close behind. Southview returns a lot on both sides of the ball they were a young team last year and shared the league title. I will give them the early nod for the title but anything can happen. Key players De'Nard Pinckney QB/DB, Ja'Darian Bowers RB/DB, Konnor Chuba TE, Anthony Quinn TE/OLB, David Renner WR, Ray Okdie OL/DL, Jay Fischer OL/MLB, Allen Gant WR/S, Je'Quillan Bowers RB/WR/DB.

sniper_8wow was it a school operation decision-(losing his job due to failure of levy?) or just his choice. 1 and done, not good for the devils..will they hire within due to to the financial situation.

RocketsfanSpringfield opens again at Oak Harbor. The Rockets shocked the Devils last year and are much improved from last year. Should be a good game for Week 1.

He took a position with a professional team. I never felt like he would be long term at Springfield anyway the administration should have saw it as well. http://www.ufl-football.com/news/omaha-nighthawks-head-coach-jeff-jagodzinski-selects-coaching-staff-2010-united-football-leaguesniper_8 wrote: wow was it a school operation decision-(losing his job due to failure of levy?) or just his choice. 1 and done, not good for the devils..will they hire within due to to the financial situation. -
sniper_8yes they should of as well. i think that hurts them as well, honeymoon over.

rmolin73It's really sad that the overlooked many viable in-house candidates. Could it be that was they only way that they would have gotten Kevin Williams?
-
sniper_8Hey may go back to Central now.

Swamp FoxIf I'm not mistaken, the vast majority of BG coaches were on staff during the "glory years", when the Bobcats were winning league titles and making appearances in the State playoffs. I'm not sure that it is always the fault of the coaching staff. Sometimes the kids on the field may not be quite the athletes that perhaps their friends and their parents think they are. I am hopeful that the Bobcats are improved this year but we need to keep in mind that the NLL is a very good league and it will take a team's best effort every Friday night. Talk is cheap but the proof will be found in the pudding. The pudding will be on display when the games begin.
-
champ01Swamp Fox, does this mean you like the chances of the Bobcats having a winning record, and doing some damage in the league this year?
-
2quik4uVince Marrow is leaving already wow, wasn't last year his first year at Springfield?
-
rmolin73Yes last year was his first year at Springfield.
-
sniper_8Any candidates in house? Tough to find an outside candidate I would imagine with their budget constraints and cut backs.

For my two cents, I don't think I would go that far. The upcoming senior class just doesn't have much depth to it. So I think it may take a year or so before BG can start thinking about league titles. But I do think the team will have a different attitude this year. Less laid back and more getting after it. Practices will be longer and harder. Players might not appreciate it at the time, but this is what they need to get better in the long run. So while it may not pay off with more wins necessarily this year, I think the team will 'compete' better this year.champ01;359888 wrote:Swamp Fox, does this mean you like the chances of the Bobcats having a winning record, and doing some damage in the league this year?
