Week 12: Norwalk St. Paul vs Mogadore

CatFan14Looks like only one team has been within 20 points of NSP all year. I thought St. Paul would be the favorite in Region 21 all season. A real tough test for the Wildcats. Go Cats!
-
Fab4RunnerDefinitely pulling for Mogadore...I want to them to make it on so I can watch them at least once this year.
-
tsst_fballfanGood luck Moggy from Smithville!
-
newarkcatholicfanThis match up is one I would have loved to see.
I really like Mogadore and have made a friend or two from there over the years and I really like Norwalk ST.Paul from following them for so long and living in Fremont for short time.
I hope both teams play a great game and leave no questions as to who the better team is. -
RoyalNutIs this game by chance going to be on TV anywhere?
-
newarkcatholicfanI would love a copy of it if it is.
-
SonofanumpGuessing St. Paul by 12. I think Moggy is for real and will test NSP.
-
pbuckThis will be a great game I think Mogadore pulls out a close one

RoyalNutI just got home from this game. The scary thing is. It was not as close as the 48-7 score would have you believe.
Wow NSP is a well oiled machine.
Who ever wins our game tomorrow night will have their work cut out for them
Oh I am a Wynford fan by the way. -
newarkcatholicfanCan they compete with the machine call Delphos St. J?

They will not make it that far!newarkcatholicfan wrote: Can they compete with the machine call Delphos St. J?
I'm serious too!
We have to get past Hopewell-Louden a very good football team. And barring turnovers and the like, I believe we will. But hey anything can happen. But if we get a crack at NSP. Yep I believe we send em home. -
Auburn FanQuite a few east side of the state teams have been sent home in these early rounds. Way to go westside D6, keep it going.

Too many steps down the road to even consider.
Whoever beats them is going to have to throw the playbook out the window and pull somthing out of their arse. They're a physical mismatch for anyone in D6. 80 players, huge, how can they not be favored to easily win it all?
I like St Paul' chances against either of HL or Wynford. Mogadore was a good solid team along the lines of Ashland Crestview, tough against the run. The skill matchups were simply a bad mismatch in St Paul's favor. And the speed/quickness factor on defense. Really, the game was not as close as the score indicated. -
Jawz83Nice game Flyers. Play 'em one at a time.
-
CatFan14A little surprised by the score, but not the outcome. It was like watching a replay of the Woodridge game all over again. And it will be the same over and over until Mogadore's defensive coaches find a way to teach pass coverage. Mogadore's zone had seams that were 15 yards wide. I don't think you can rely on your pressure on the QB to be the only answer. If the other team has a solid o-line that negates the pressure (like SP did) and their receivers run good routes, this kind of team will spell the end for Mogadore each and every year. "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got."
-
CatFan14Now, I'd love to see NSP beat DSJ for their first title, but that's a tall order. I'll be there watching.
-
94hoopsThe St. paul defense was really impressive in this one.
-
Jawz83Hoops, glad to see you made it over here. Go Flyers!
