Lakers @ Kings
-
SQ_Crazies49-48 Lakers at half.
Kobe with 18, 5 and 3
Gasol 11.
Bynum 17 and 9.
Evans with 14 in the 1st half, only King in double digits. -
SQ_CraziesLet me also say that Kobe is 7 of 18 at the half.
Gasol and Bynum a combined 13-16... -
wildcats20Kobe scored the last 13 for LA to end the 1st.
Built a 12(I think) point lead at one point, Kobe sat and the lead was gone. -
wildcats20Lakers up 7 halfway through the 3rd.
Not really paying attention at all to this -
Trueblue23I really wish Kobe would stop shooting so much.
-
wildcats20Lakers win by 7, 106-99. Would have been a taco night at Staples.
-
wildcats20Kobe 30, Pau 28, Bynum 21.
Won't lose many games with those numbers. Both Bynum and Pau had 20+ and 10+, Kobe needed 1 board for it. -
SQ_CraziesYou're right, you won't lose many games like that. But in the playoffs you might, because when you break the numbers down Kobe was 10-26 and Gasol/Bynum combined to go 21-28. 14 shots a piece.
When your big men are dominating like that, there is no excuse for having 1 fewer missed FG (13) than both of them have attempts. They won, but that's just hurting the team. Normally if those 3 put up those numbers and they were playing the Kings it'd be a blowout--wasn't the case tonight. Against a good team, it's trouble for the Lakers even with those numbers. I mean it has a lot to do with depth and the players outside of those 3--but when Gasol is 12-14, he's the one who should be taking 26 shots. -
SQ_CraziesOutside of the big 3, the rest of the team had 33 attempts.
