Knicks @ Cav's 3/1

SportsAndLadyI donno, the Wolves have 5 guys averaging over 10 points a game...and in my opinion the second, MAYBE an outside chance of the best center in the NBA in Al Jefferson.
-
SQ_CraziesEven the Kings. Evans, they likely wouldn't have gotten rid of Martin if they had LeBron, some half way decent bigs, a few good shooters. They'd be fine. Landry, Nocioni, Udrih, Casspi. Definitely be a playoff team.
-
Hb31187Tyreke Evans, Donte Green, Spencer Hawes, Cassipi and Carl Landry are not makin the playoffs with LBJ lol
-
SQ_CraziesI beg to differ.
-
Hb31187if they had martin i could agree theyd stand a godo shot...but without....nah
-
SQ_CraziesKobe made the playoffs with Smush Parker. I know the West is good, but it isn't THAT good.

hoops23LOL @ you guys who think you can just plug in a great player with a bunch of guys he's never played with before and it automatically make them a playoff team..
This just in, LeBron or anybody for that matter can't do it on their own.. It's taken the Cavs 7 years to build this team into a championship caliber team w/ LeBron.. You think some other team is going to do it overnight?
Anyway, this is one of the most entertaining games I've been to. Sat about 13 rows behind the Cavs bench and had a blast.. At one point, (during Delontes' dunkface of T-Mac) the bench was celebrating so wildly that they actually tripped over each other.. Hilarious..
But my goodness, the Knicks are TERRIBLE. They were only worried about their numbers and nobody played defense.. Made for a lot of nice dunks though. -
just_a_swimmerI didn't even see boobie on the bench last night ***sigh***

Any team + Lebron = Playoff teamLTrain23 wrote: LOL @ you guys who think you can just plug in a great player with a bunch of guys he's never played with before and it automatically make them a playoff team..

Any team + Lebron =/= Championship contender -
disco stu^^ Boobie was out last night and tomorrow for personal reasons. I am not sure what, but I know his g/f was having complications before
-
Fab4RunnerI am guessing it was because of complications from Keyshia's pregnancy.
-
just_a_swimmerYea I looked on the Cav's website and it has him listed inactive as day to day.

We're not talking about a championship caliber team, we're talking about a playoff team.LTrain23 wrote: This just in, LeBron or anybody for that matter can't do it on their own.. SageYou could plug LeBron into ANY team and they would make the playoffs.
-
devil1197
Maybe true, but there is a huge difference between playoff contenders and championship contenders.Sage wrote: You could plug LeBron into ANY team and they would make the playoffs.
Cleveland is built right now to be championship contenders while most of the teams LeBron may go to may very well reach the playoffs but won't have a legit shot. I think you could agree on that.
Most teams will look good 5-7 players deep but Cleveland looks good when all healthy and together (Shaq, Z, AV, Jamison, JJ, Powe) (LeBron, Moon, Parker, West, Gibson, Williams). That isn't including Jawad who has looked good at times. That's a 12 deep team right now. -
SageThe argument wasn't if he'd make them a Championship caliber squad, but rather, if they would make the playoffs.
-
devil1197
I know. But the argument is pointless because LeBron won't leave a championship caliber team for a possible playoff team.Sage wrote: The argument wasn't if he'd make them a Championship caliber squad, but rather, if they would make the playoffs. -

Well no fucking shit...does that mean we still can't debate the hypothetical topic though?devil1197 wrote:

SQ_CraziesYou're missing the point, this particular discussion has nothing to do with him leaving really. The opinion that he would turn any team into a playoff team was thrown out there--it wasn't being used in the debate of whether or not he'll leave in this case.
-
Lovejoy1984Yeah
I mean I don't think Lebron would leave the Cavs to go to a team with a bunch of scrubs, but September threw out the comment about LeBron not making the Knicks into Playoff contenders, with the same talent they have now. -
devil1197I'd say he would take a majority of the NBA teams to the playoffs.
But there would be some teams right now like the NYK and NJN. I am sorry but there isn't one player in the NBA that could take a 6 win team to 30 wins. That's just my opinion. They have some talent like Harris, Lee and Lopez, but LeBron would be asked to do way to much. Depth plays a big role because if one of their main starters go down then it makes it that much harder.
NYK just because they run a system that has no defense and teams like that will not make the playoffs with that roster + LeBron. Now if Mike D decided to actually try to play some defense with LeBron, Chandler, Lee, Gallinari and co. then they would probably steal the 7th or 8th seed. But their style of play is terrible.
Talent wise most of the teams could make the playoffs with LeBron but it takes more than talent to get there especially when you look at the Western Conference. -

Twolves no...Clips...I think they do.Hb31187 wrote: I think theres no way the timberwolves make the playoffs with him at all, or the clippers -

D'Antonio should be shitcanned. Throwing up 3 point off balaced bricks with 15 seconds left on the shot clock is ridiculous. Couple that with no effort at the other end....horrible.SQ_Crazies wrote: I've seriously seen better chemistry in pick up games at the rec than I do with this Knicks team. They're pathetic.
But of course watching a New York team suck has it's upside....
