Game 59 | Cavaliers @ Celtics | February 25, 2010 | 8:00PM

devil1197The PF's had nothing to do with Mo finally hitting 4 three pointers in the 4th quarter which was the main reason Cleveland won big. You put DBlock out there and Mo still goes off. Cleveland is very good when Mo is on.

jpake1And I once stuck my fingers in a twat and brown eye and carried the girl like a six pack to a party. What's your point? He won two rings. That just tells me he knew his place and did his job well on that team. It doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about when it comes to this years players and teams. He isn't an idiot like Charles, but he is wrong a lot and he does it with cocky arrogance. Like tonight for example.

it was a joke...like, he was a world champion in bball so you're a world champion at sucking cock....probably a pretty bad joke but i had a really bad fucking day and i havent even added in alcohol consumption....so just fukcing laughjpake1 wrote: And I once stuck my fingers in a twat and brown eye and carried the girl like a six pack to a party. SageCeltics are fucking sorry.

hoops23lol.. And this, fellow freehuddlers are why none of us are an NBA coach.. It was hilarious reading through the panic in this thread..
A couple of points:
1. Many of you wanted to see Mo out of the game.. Mike Brown stayed with him. That shows Mo that no matter what, his coach and teammates have faith in him.. He came through BIG in the 4th.
2. Shaq was having a pretty good game. He wasn't getting ANY calls though. Hilarious that they showed his one make and Nate Robinson grabbed his arm TWICE. Hopefully this is nothing serious.
3. LeBron and Antawn started the comeback in the 3rd. Don't forget about this. He and LeBron combined for 16 or 18 straight Cavs points. It was a big turning point in momentum.
4. Mike Brown proved why he's a good coach. He kept tinkering with line ups throughout the game until he found out one that worked. Then he stuck with it. I was really impressed with JJ, not only did he attack the basket and rebound, but he aldo defending KG pretty damn well.. This is why I didn't want to trade the kid and I was ecstatic that we got Jamison for a draft pick.
Hopefully this win calms some of you down. I know a lot of you guys weren't panicking, but some of you were pretty entertaining throughout the thread.
This team is stacked. Mike Brown has to re-figure out who plays well with one another. For anybody to not think Shaq or Antawn will be key in the playoffs, they're crazy. Fact of the matter is, I don't care who ends up being the best, as long as we're hanging our first championship banner. -
Swamp FoxIt isn't going to be Boston that upsets the apple cart. If anyone does, it will be the Hollywood Lakers.
-
SQ_CraziesAll you C's fans finally want to admit that KG isn't much better than Sheed at this point?
-
wes_mantoothGood win for the Cavs, but like someone else said.....the amount of depth on this team could be a problem. It is a great problem to have, but Mike Brown has his work cut out for him.
-
slingshot4everBig win on the road for the Cavs. Good sign that chemistry is forming after the trade for Jamison.
-
pkebkerWhy is it a problem to have too much depth. We have high character guys, they won't cause a big fuss if they have to sit. Now if we we're full of players from the nuggets or celtics roster, it would be another story, because all you would here is complaining, but you won't see that with our team.
-
pkebkerI find it amusing how people on here have been saying the C's are real contenders in the east and the Cavs are not. The C's are 11-12 since Jan 8, we had one 3-game losing streak....I fail to see their logic....There are too many High Schoolers on here that don't really understand (or haven't watch enough) the up and downs of a season...too many people panic

BR1986FBHo hum...the Cavs beat up on the Boston "AARP/Over 30 League" last night. The only team in the conference that COULD take them down is Orlando...MAYBE. Atlanta can't beat anyone good and Boston is just OLD.
I've been saying this for a few weeks now. The ONLY one that will hold the Cavs back from playing for a championship is Mike Brown, barring a major injury to Lebron. With the team that Ferry has assembled, if Brown doesn't take this team to the championship series he should be fired before they even leave the floor of the Eastern Conference Championship.
I think that Brown is a good "starter coach" but I'm skeptical he can bring them a championship. His rotations leave you scratching your head. -
OneBuckeye^ I agree, the team that scares me (besides orlando) is the bobcats, Brown can't seem to get his head out of his ass when we play them.
-
BR1986FB
He should have kicked in the head for leaving the defensive "revolving door", Boobie Gibson, in at crunch time to guard Chauncey Billups (when they played Denver) with Jamario Moon rotting away on the bench. Same thing against Orlando when he left another defensive liability, Mo Williams, on the court to play defense.OneBuckeye wrote: ^ I agree, the team that scares me (besides orlando) is the bobcats, Brown can't seem to get his head out of his ass when we play them.
I personally would prefer Mo coming off the bench as a 6th man. -
From the HillsAdd me to the list to thinks KG is more than a liability than a force at this point in this career. He really has trouble defending if he has to move laterally. Hell, Mo even went right around him for a lay up. But lets hope Doc sticks with him as long as he can, besides who does he replace him with, an even slower Wallace.
I don't know about Mo coming off the bench, but I would like to see more of Moon. He defends pretty well and makes plays with his athleticism. -
burt07The funny thing with Moon is that he was a defensive liability for the most part when he was the Raptors and Heat. However, the way the Cavs use him on smaller players has been perfect. He's done a fantastic job in a number of 4th quarters this year on the defensive end, I can remember going to the Cavs-Pacers game back in November and it seemed like the Pacers were going to put up about 200 in the fist half. Moon plays most of the 2nd half and the Pacers don't even hit 100. Obviously some of that had to do with them being the Pacers but damn, there's no denying when Moon's out there with the right defensive assignment that this team becomes very hard to score on.

FootwedgeLOL at people bashing Mike Brown and Mo Williams. In due time, Ferry and Brown will have a lttrle chat about Jamison, and the end result will have him on the bench during crunch time. This guy getting 35 minutes a game is a joke.
Jamison had another train wreck on the floor last night, and it was great to see JJ Hickson come in and play the way he did. Kudos to coach Brown for recognizing what needed to be done.
Also, Mo and DeLonte had huge games and Anderson was solid as usual.
And finally, it's a shame that Booby Gibson rots away on the bench these days. All he did was help the team go unbeaten while our 2 guards were injured.
If I were Gibson, I wouldn't be happy with this at all. -
jpake1Are you going to drop the Jamison thing... ever? Let the guy play, stop repeating yourself 20 times a day, then either be proven right or wrong at the end of the season.
-
just_a_swimmerBoobie is a team player but I am sure down deep this does frustrate him. I mean he was buried on the bench before Mo and Delonte got hurt. He went from not playing to starting and played pretty well I might add and once Mo and West comes back then right back to not being in the rotation at all. It has got to be frustrating for him.

When he plays like shit, I will say so.jpake1 wrote: Are you going to drop the Jamison thing... ever? Let the guy play, stop repeating yourself 20 times a day, then either be proven right or wrong at the end of the season. -

You realize your signature isn't even accurate, the cavs are 2-2 with Jamison, not 0-3...might want to be accurate before you try to convince us with how smart you are...Footwedge wrote:

jpake1Seems like you've got a foot wedged up your ass. Did he sleep with your wife/gf? You really seem to have something against the guy. But hey, have at it. Don't let me spoil it for you.

wes_mantooth
I didn't mean that the players would fuss, but I just think that it would be tougher to coach a team with this many players that deserve playing time. He has 11 or 12 guys on any given night that bring different things to the table.pkebker wrote: Why is it a problem to have too much depth. I think the guy is overrated...if you have a problem with that, than go fuck yourself. Is that OK?jpake1 wrote: Seems like you've got a foot wedged up your ass. Did he sleep with your wife/gf? You really seem to have something against the guy. But hey, have at it. Don't let me spoil it for you.
When he plays like shit, I'll call him out for playing like shit...same with any other player that plays like shit.
Hickson, AV, and probably even Powe give the Cavs a better chance to win.
I don't like his softness, his crap defense, his turnovers and his mediocre outside shooting. They give him 30 plus minutes a night...he doesn't deserve it.
