Official Freehuddle Mock Draft: Round 3

Dang, hopefully after the 4th round, I've been pleasantly happy with my draft so fa.LJ wrote: I think we should end it here or after the 4th round. -

I think when we get past the 4th round people would just be making random picks.rydawg5 wrote:
Yeah, too bad we do a "first come first serve" style. We could of had 32 people who are really active bang this draft out much quicker. This always happens. It's tough to get an entire group to make speedy picks.LJ wrote: I think we should end it here or after the 4th round. -

Yeah I agree with that although I've already got some guys I was planning on picking in rounds 6-7(since the Cowboys dont have a 5th round pick haha).LJ wrote:

jpake1Some people have lives and can only get on during certain points of the night. Not everybody checks this website 15 times a day waiting for something good.
-
rydawg5
That's the kind of guy who doesn't need to be in a mock draftjpake1 wrote: Some people have lives and can only get on during certain points of the night. Not everybody checks this website 15 times a day waiting for something good. -
jpake1Does anybody NEED to be in a mock draft? No. But people do it for a way to waste a few minutues of their day. But some people seem to make it the highlight of their day.
-
rydawg5
Yeah, im sure this is the highlight of everyone's day. The funny little caveat is "Posting Freak" (760 total posts) is saying how he just casually graces the site with his presence for 15 minutes a day, and other's need to get a life (260 total posts) and not make this the highlight of the day.jpake1 wrote: Does anybody NEED to be in a mock draft? You sir, just hit the bong. -
jpake1
When did I say that I just casually grace the site for 15 minutes a day and that you need to get a life? Don't worry, I'll wait dumbass. I said SOME PEOPLE, not I, can only check this so often. I said nothing about you nor I. Maybe you're hitting the bong son, because you made that shit all up on your own. I was merely pointing out that some of the people that visit this site work at least 40+ hours a week, are married, and have kids to take care of. They don't find much free time to get on a message board. Then there are people from the younger crowd that don't have much responsibilites that have a lot of time on their hands that visit this time much more frequently.rydawg5 wrote:

jpake1And yes, I do actually believe some people make the huddle the highlight of their day. I feel like I get on here a pretty decent amount and I have almost 800 posts. There are people with near 2k. I just ask myself how much time are you actually on here and what else do you do. I'm logged in with over a weeks access because I don't log out and close windows. The people that have that many posts, I assume, are actually logged in for that long browsing this site. I wasn't slamming you, just pointing out that patience is needed because people don't have as much time as you might.

This guy has been moving up. He has great potential and runs a sub 5 sec 40.Leonardo wrote: With the 94th pick in the 2010 FreeHuddle Mock Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Jared Veldheer, offensive tackle from Hillsdale

jpake1Interesting prospect. Never heard of him until now.
-
devil1197Yeah, he was getting great reviews on ESPN by the analysts. He had a great combine.
-
hoops23I'm pretty happy with my draft so far.. Filled some needs with the Chargers and got 3 really good prospects, imo..
-
DaBrowns41
It's up for debate. I personally like Dwyer, but NFL Analysts seem to think he may slip to round 3. He didn't have a great combine, so it's possible, and with guys like Mathews and Best moving up, and with such a deep draft, mid-round 2 seems to be where he'll probably go.LTrain23 wrote: I'm pretty happy with my draft so far.. Carlton Mitchell is an excellent prospect as well.
Greg Hardy, on the other hand is slipping...and fast. -
osu99I got a franchise QB, LT and run stopping DT for the Hawks. Not a bad draft so far.
-
LJI feel like I have done a good job with Buffalo filling some holes
-
buck_a_holicAny Browns fans want to weigh in on my job? I feel like I have done an alright job...Not an A+ or anything, but I don't feel it is an F.

I think you've done a great job of filling holes. Getting Sapp in the 2nd round was a steal, IMO. And I really like Thomas.buck_a_holic wrote: Any Browns fans want to weigh in on my job? I feel like I have done an alright job...Not an A+ or anything, but I don't feel it is an F.
I would give you an A -
j_crazymiami = contenders after 3 rounds.
my plan:
miami = clear SB favorites after 4 rounds. -
charliehustle14I was pretty happy with my draft until my second pick of the 3rd round. I got stupid and drafted off of need (Thompson, CB) instead of for value (Jon Asamoah, OG). I gambled and figured Jon Asamoah would be there when my pick came up in the 4th.
I still think Thompson is a solid player though. He's undersized but he's great in run support and has pretty decent ball skills and speed.
