    ^^

    I agree

Cleveland will have the money but its hard to get guys to come to Cleveland. I don't want to overpay for a guy that is injuried often.

We'll see what Holmgren and Co. can do.

So they can add one more player to their IR report during the third week of the season?

I've been waiting for this. I'll say the same thing I said about LT. Let's wait for the idiots in fantasy football to take him in the 1st round, again. These guys had great talent and still have some in the tank. But they're proven they cannot stay healthy.

While Westbrook has been "Questionable" for about 60 weeks of the last seasons, he has really only missed most of the last season officially.

Not hard to believe, I know I would be frustrated if I were part of the Eagles brass. Dude's always hurt, its not his fault, but that's a fact

Westbrook will probably retire, and if he doesn't any team that signs him is drastically going to over pay him, as he'll only play a handful of games.

NFL is rapidly becoming a passing league. Teams dont wanna tie up $$ in a RB who is injured often like westbrook, or LT who is slowing down big time.

Westbrook is not a regular runninback. He was like the leading receiver for the Eagles when healthy. He is NOT a "runinngback" in a traditional sense. A very useful tool if you ask me, especially to go along with Jerome Harrison.

Westbrook would be a good pickup. LT would not be.

Very true. Gotta have an offense that would take advantage of his skills on the field. Some teams and their offenses dont utilize their RB's as recivers often. Will the browns going fwd to such thing?

It isnt just throwing outta the backfield or flanking him out. Reid did a good job in putting Westbrook into spots where he would be successful. A shift, or motion, and having the DB's covering the wideouts and a LB or Safety on him. Takes a good offensive scheme to put a guy like wesbrook in perfect situations.

I havent seen that outta the browns offense..but then again IM not a fan of them..but do get to watch em semi often

Damaged goods browns fans. low ball him if you really want him, do not tie up a bunch of dough on him.

Did anybody hear his interview on Sportscenter with Scott Van Pelt? I wasn't really paying attention, but I heard BW refer to Howard Stern or something and SVP said something along the lines of "Well thanks for that" and the phone call ended abruptly.

Yeah haha I saw it on Deadspin earlier. It was a prank from one of Howard Stern's minions. You can see the video there. Van Pelt looks speechless at first. (By the way you'd have to be stupid to think that guy was Westbrook, what ESPN thinking)

Yeah, I finally found out over on the Serious Business forum last night..

Great stuff.. The first thing I said when "Brian" started speaking was "I don't remember him sounding like that"...

No thanks on Westbrook, Browns fans. The reason the Iggles let him loose is concussions and the new rules Goodell is trying to implement. He's too much of a liability. Browns need to go young which means no Westbrook's or washed up Tomlison's.

I called LT's decline 2 years ago. Right now he's no better than Jamal Lewis.

So did a lot of people. Not a surprise at all considering his past workload and his age.

Finally glad to see you make it over here.
