Hockey is on CNBC tonight, FYI.

Thought 21 Eric Staal-87 Sidney Crosby-12 Jarome Iginla (A) was the first line, not second?

Should be a good one though. It will be really interesting to see what happens if Canada falls behind at all. I doubt they will, but the pressure could really start to get them then.

I expect the Canucks to win, but see it more like a 3-1 game.
BTW, Why is there not a more serious debate on Fleury ahead of Luongo?

^^^^Fleury hasn't been that good the past month with the Pens, maybe that has to play in?
  • gorocks99
I dunno if it's true in the Olympics or not, but w/ Canada as the home team they may be playing a little line-matching game as they get to switch after the Germans do. So yeah, Staal-Crosby-Iginla is in essence the #1 line, but not on the lineup sheet.

True, I just know Luongo's big game record isn't exactly great.

Idk what is. He's never gone past the second round of the playoffs though.

Surprisingly, still 0-0 after 6 minutes of play.
  • gorocks99
Anyone watching, what's going on in this one? Does Canada really have only two shots? I literally figured they'd be up 2-0 in the first 5 minutes of this game, are they sluggish, out of it, or what?
  • gorocks99
    There's the goal ... Canada's up 1-0.
  • chicago510
    4-0 now.

Cindy Crosby just missed Nash's penalty shot though
  • queencitybuckeye
Up four goals, Babcock should let the player who earned the penalty shot take it.
  • KnightXC1
Not too surprising at all. Now the real challenge comes with Russia. That will be a great game, hopefully.
  • thavoice
Anyone see that goal that went THROUGH the net? I didnt watch a whole lot more after that as they soon made it 3-0.

I believe I know the answer....but correct me im wrong. They do wait til a break to review it which is good. If there is another goal scored between that time does that goal still count? I think it does..just want clarification
  • End of Line
Yeah I saw it. Weber has a blasting point shot.
