gibby08So pretty much what you're saying is that since I don't pick Lebron and the cavs for everything I'm stupid,an idiot, and I'm brainwashed by ESPN??
-
devil1197LeBron is the only MVP candidate in the NBA right now. His numbers are absolutely ridiculous.
-
gibby08^^^
Not true
Although that meaning has changed in the past few years...the MVP shouldn't go to the best player on the best team....It should go to the player who means the most to his team..and this year that is Kevin Durant.....and NOBODY CAN DISPUTE THAT -
Lovejoy1984
I'd say LeBron means just as much to the Cavs, as Durant does to the Thunder.gibby08 wrote: ^^^

gibby08Not even close
-
Lovejoy1984
Exactly. He's putting up amazing numbers, no one is really close.devil1197 wrote: LeBron is the only MVP candidate in the NBA right now. His numbers are absolutely ridiculous. -
devil1197
Really, how can you prove that? I'd like to see you try. That's all opinionated imo.gibby08 wrote: ^^^

Sorry but most have agreed that the MVP race ended a long time ago. -
gibby08If they give Lebron James that MVP over Kevin Durant the award is a fucking joke
Some of you Cavs fans need to take off your LeBron blinders off and see there are players just as good as him...if not better -
Lovejoy1984
Welp, then be prepared for it to be a Joke, because LeBron is winning the MVP, barring an injury.gibby08 wrote: If they give Lebron James that MVP over Kevin Durant the award is a fucking joke -

If they gave it to the player who meant the most to his team, LeBron would have won the award every year he's been in the NBA. And you absolutely can't dispute that.gibby08 wrote: If they give Lebron James that MVP over Kevin Durant the award is a fucking joke

Here's how I judge: switch the players. With KD, the Cavs aren't making it out of the East but they're still damn good. The Thunder with LeBron are instantly one of the best teams in the West, but they wouldn't beat the Lakers or Nuggets.
LeBron means more to his team than anyone in the league--still. There is a big difference between a playoff team and one of the best 3-4 teams in the NBA.
The MVP discussion is over, like others have said, barring injury it's LeBron's. Bitch and moan all you want, that's how it works--we learned that by watching LeBron have better seasons than Durant is having right now and not win it. But that's why people are calling out an idiot, because there seriously isn't even an argument about it. The only argument happening in reference to the MVP is about 2nd place. -
ytownfootballhttp://www.cbssports.com/nba/playerrankings/regularseason/OVERALL?tag=pageRow;pageContainer
The ball don't lie, LBJ has headed this category nearly, if not all season long. The "most valuable to a team" is a little more gray admitedly, but the numbers are the first place any voter goes to start their thought process, bank on it. -
SQ_Crazies
That ranking system shows the real separation I think. KD is a stud, but he isn't anywhere near as good as LeBron yet, and I don't think he will be until LeBron starts to decline.
-
gibby08^^^
Then the process is a fucking joke
SQ...I sure as hell can dispute that claim
Fine...Lebron can have his MVP's if he stays in Cleveland...he'll never win a title -
SQ_Crazies
Bahaha, showing your true colors--you're nothing but a hater.gibby08 wrote: ^^^

And if you think you can dispute that claim then I invite you to try--do your homework if you're going to call me out son. -
gibby08Don't call me son you LeBron nuthugging prick
Contrary to what you front running Cavs fans think...Cleveland isn't the best team and Lebron isn't far and away the best player....I can give a list of players who are just as good if not better than him -
ytownfootballA hater indeed. Not once has ole gibby rooted for any team/player other than the one playing the Cav's that night. Just admit it gibber, we'll all get along much better.
-
gibby08I personally could give less than a shit about the Cavs...or the NBA for that matter
I get sick and tired of Cavs fans thinking that Lebron is the only good player and the Cavs are the only good team. THAT'S what pisses me off
Is Lebron a very very good player? Yes
Is he one of the best players in the league? Yes
Is he far and away the best? Not a Chance -
SQ_Crazies
Alright, well since you didn't want to back up your own dispute--because you can't, clearly--you make another claim. Let's see the list boy...gibby08 wrote: Don't call me son you LeBron nuthugging prick

devil1197LeBron is THE best player in the NBA by far this season, even those crazy Laker fans agree! Is Cleveland the best team by far, no their good but they haven't seperated themselves from the rest of the top yet.
But you're high if you don't think LeBron is just killing everyone. Leads the league in ppg and averages almost 9 assists per outing. Oh by the way he leads the top MVP guys in FG % also.
Not only is he great on offense, he'll be a 1st team defender something which Durant will not be this year. -
gibby08Kobe Bryant
Dwight Howard
Carmelo Anthony
Dwyane Wade
Kevin Durant
Dirk Nowitzki
Chris Paul
Brandon Roy
Joe Johnson -
ytownfootballHe's done this list before and it just got turned into him being the laughing stock. Since you don't care about the Cav's or the NBA in general, what the hell are you posting here for anyway? Because you hate Cav FANS. Good lord dude...that's so weak.
-
gibby08Where did I say I hate Cavs fans??
-
devil1197
Exactly how many of those guys average or even come close to 30 ppg, 7 rpg, 8.5 apg, 50% FG per game all while being a 1st team NBA defender.gibby08 wrote: Kobe Bryant

gibby08Outside of Kobe....how many of those guys average 30 shots a game
