I'd say he's quite a bit better than decent. But you've made your opinion of him very clear.

Fact remains, he doesn't put up the stats he has, and been named to the All-Pro teams that he's been named too, if he was just decent. You may not like the antics, but you cannot deny his talent, and his production. Unless you're simply a hater.

HighRoller74, I may pull you chain every now and then but if you think Stinko and Ward are equal when it comes to the HOF, you dont know nothing about football. I mean you can honestly say that his career has been a disappointment along with Carson(another usc bust) Palmer.

How has his career been a disappointment?

Carson I can somewhat agree with, but Ochocinco has performed pretty well, his stats are pretty damn close to Wards, in 3 less years, so if he's been a disappointment, whats that say about Ward?

He's 200 Catches away from Ward, 1000 yards, and 16 TD's. All of which can be attained if he plays 3 years longer than Ward.

He also currently has more Pro Bowls, and AP All-Pro 1st Team awards than Ward does.

The only thing alluding him is the Playoff Accolades, which really cannot be blamed on a WR. A half-dozen things have to go right, for a WR to even catch the ball, where as it doesn't take much for a QB, or HB to be successful, or take over a game. However it's much more difficult for a WR to do so.

If Chad Ochocinco continues to produce as he has so far in his career, he'll be in the HOF, same for Hines Ward, but for you to say that Ward is a surefire HOF, and Ochocinco has no shot, is just naive or just plain ignorant on your part.

HighRoller74 wrote:Ochocinco's HOF chances are every bit as good as Hines Ward. The HOF isn't fascinated by team awards like you seem to think it is, they base their membership off of individual accomplishments, for the most part.

    900 receptions
    11000 yards
    78 TD's
    4 Pro Bowls
    3 AP All-Pro 2nd team
    2 Super Bowls
    1 SB MVP

    700 Receptions
    10000 Yards
    62 TD's
    6 Pro Bowls
2 AP All Pro 1st teams
1 AP All Pro 2nd Team

    All in 3 less seasons.

If Ochocinco continues this productions he'll eclipse the stats of Hines Ward, and really that's what matters when it comes to HOF voting. Which is why Dan Marino, and Jim Kelly are in the HOF, without winning a SB.

But Phil Simms, Joe Theismann, And Kenny Stabler, all SB winners are not in the HOF.
Personally, I think he has a long way to go but I'll take a "wait and see" approach when it comes to Ocho Stinko and the HOF. Ward is one tough SOB and has shown his longevity, I'm not sure Ocho Stinko can play as long as Ward has.

BTW, Marino and Kelly never won a SB but they have won plenty of playoff games.

Al Capone isn't really this clueless is he? He is just messing with us, right?

LOL at Al Capone's love affair with taking shots at Ocho! Al Capone is just a 100% hater.

    Since 2001:
    Bungals-4875 pass attemps
    Steelers-4281 pass attemps
Any football fan knows that Ward has played on a run first team through out his career. Stinko has played on a pass happy offense most of his career due to the fact that his team was usually always trying to catch up from behind.
With that said and the fact that the Bungals threw the ball 600 more times than the Steelers, anybody that would argue that Stinko is anywhere near the player Ward is doesnt know football very much. And the closest Stinko will get to the HOF is the game they got up there this season. Hope he takes pics. hahaha

So because the Bengals threw more times allowing 85 to be more productive somehow means what exactly???? Oh, nothing. I see......
  • Strapping Young Lad
BTW, It works out to just over four more passes/game that the Bengals threw compared to the Steelers, in that span of time, so you're still an idiot......

Ok, maybe better than decent, but 10 pages on this guy? 10 pages? On Chad Johnson? His relatives probably couldn't fill 10 pages on him.

    Yet here you are....

So, fill us in. What's your fascination with 85 that keeps you returning to this thread???

He's calling someone else out for complaining about the number of posts on this thread, while posting on this thread.

That'd be like me complaining about all the Dems in office, and then casting a ballot for the Dems. It just doesn't make sense.

Wrong....I made no mention of the post count on this thread, ONLY the number of pages. I'm just returning every now and then to witness the lunacy, some of you have set up camp on this thread....Hence the question, is THIS guy worthy of 10 page.
  • Lovejoy1984
Number of pages is a direct result of post count, they are basically the exact same thing. You can't get to 10 pages without 192 posts, and so on. So complaining about the number of pages, is the same is complaining about number of posts.
