    Looking at Carolina, they can go a few different directions.

    Matt Moore showed some promise at QB but they may still want to find a better long-term answer. Not sure I see it right here at this spot.

    If they're showing commitment to Moore, it would be wise to add some explosiveness to the offense to go along with Steve Smith.

    And they need help on the defensive line, both end and tackle. Julius Peppers' days could be numbered.

    Also, not having a first round pick would lead one to believe they'll be looking for some value or best available, perhaps a player who slipped some.

    There are a lot of DL options on the board, which the Panthers should consider, but they went with DE Everette Brown in almost the exact same draft position last year. They may want to mix it up. Gilyard brings good polish and playmaking ability. Compared a lot to Santonio Holmes, although I think Gilyard can have more success as a rookie.
