Tracy McGrady to the Knicks?
-
SQ_CraziesIt does nothing to LeBron or D-Wade. Neither of them are going to sign with the Knicks. The Knicks will be able to make some nice moves in this offseason with the cap they cut, but they won't lure one of the biggest names--Joe Johnson if anyone, MAYBE Bosh. But I doubt any of them go there. I see LeBron staying put, Bosh ending up in Cleveland/Miami or maybe even LA. Joe Johnson in Chicago or maybe back with the Hawks. Wade almost certainly back in Miami--MAYBE Cleveland, and an even smaller chance he'll end up in either Chicago or NY.
This years playoff results will have a lot more to say about where any of these guys go than T-Mac will. -
hoops23Beasley is rumored to be traded t Phoenix for Amar'e.

I don't think Dwade stays in Miami. He's been pretty frustrated the last two years with the coaching/make up of the team. The other day he threw Spoelstra under the busSQ_Crazies wrote: It does nothing to LeBron or D-Wade. Neither of them are going to sign with the Knicks. SQ_CraziesYeah, but they're going to scrap that whole operation and start over. I don't see him leaving Miami unless he gets to go somewhere and play with LeBron.

Obviously any team with Wade & Lebron on it would probably become the favorites right away, but can you see the two maybe not meshing very well? They are kind of the same guy (skills). Both need the ball in their hands, and both want to be the alpha male. I don't I guess I could foresee chemistry issuesSQ_Crazies wrote: Yeah, but they're going to scrap that whole operation and start over. I could be wrong and the team could walk to 72 wins -
SQ_CraziesD-Wade and LeBron could definitely play together. No doubt about it--they're both about the cause, they don't give a shit about stats. They're just good enough that those numbers come in anyways.

hoops23Wade is going home. I've said it since last season.
-
SQ_CraziesDoubt it. I'd put the chance of him going back to Chicago at about 5%.
I think Joe Johnson is the most likely to end up in Chicago. -

SQ_CraziesNo reason to think that D-Wade will leave Miami as of right now, no matter how frustrated he's been. Visible frustration doesn't mean the guy wants to leave. Pat Riley will get things going in the right direction for the Heat.
-
hoops23There is plenty of reason to think he will. The thought of playing with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah are better than any set of teammates he has in Miami right now.
Chicago would instantly become an elite team, one that depending on what the Cavs can do, would definitely challenge them not only in the Central, but in the Eastern Conference.
He may or may not leave, but I feel if any superstar leaves, it's going to be Wade. -
mallymal614Not to forget Wade was born and raised in Chicago.
-
NateSorry but Pat Riley has had enough time to put the pieces together for D-Wade in Miami and he still hasn't beyond Beasley. I think Wade is gone.

SQ_Crazies
I'd say he did pretty well for D-Wade, but he hurt them in the long run selling out for Shaq. He'll get them back, they can benefit from this offseason as well--don't forget, there are loads of good FA's-to-be. Not just the stars. Wade is frustrated, no doubt, but he's never hinted that he'll leave Miami--he just wants them to make a move. Pat Riley is one of the best minds in the NBA, he seems to make the RIGHT move instead of just making a move so we'll see. I think the chance of D-Wade staying in Miami is about 90%. -
jpake1LeBron and Wade are NOT going to New York. End of discussion, except from ESPN's end.
Wade has been frustrated about the success because he's been spoiled with a championship before. Wade understands that Pat is a genious and that he can build something very special from practically nothing. Pat knows there hasn't been anything the past two years that would compare to this upcoming FA season. Wade, IMO, knows that deep down, but he can't stand seeing his buddies have great success while he's balling as well as them but only having .500 to show for it. It's been a battle of patience between the two, but I believe Pat will win out.
LBJ and Wade would work very nicely together. The Olympics showed glimpses of that. Pick your poison. Wade would LOVE if he didn't have to score 30 a game or go to the hole in crunch time all the time for any chance of a close win.
Wade will NOT be going home. I say less than 5% chance. He loves Chicago, but he isn't dying to put that uniform on. He wants to stay in Miami. If ownership does their part, he'll do his. If they lay a big fat fucking egg, he'll go elsewhere (Cleveland first IMO, if they had the money or parts for a ST). Where is this plenty of reason coming from about Chicago? You're sounding like the NY writes when they talk about LBJ.. the ones you've got a problem with. Sorry, but Rose and Noah aren't really getting him all that excited. I think Rose and Wade would clash a bit. I don't think Rose is mature enough like LBJ is to make it work at an elite level. As crazy as this sounds... out of the superstars, I think Wade is the last to go. That could very easily be my bias. I see LBJ in Miami before Wade in Cleveland (I think if those guys go anywhere, those are the places they relocate to). I think this trade deadline will either help or ruin the chances of Wade going to Cleveland.
Keebler... what are you talking about? Pat built something from nothing, won, and started to build again, and he may create a dynasty soon. Wade actually has his championship ring.. a pretty nice piece. Did you forget that? Pat also has Miami as ground zero for this upcoming FA season. Let alone, Pat got Wade B-Eazy. I know Beasley isn't respected by most fans yet. They'll regret that sooner or later. He may be in Miami, or he'll be shipped out. Either way, he's going to be very vital to Miami's success in the near future. Pat's done enough for Wade to keep him loyal. Now he's trying to do enough to make him historic. -
jordo212000I don't see Dwade coming to Cleveland... but that's just me. I'd say the odds are 85% He stays in South Beach, 10% Chicago. 5% New York. I think he is frustrated, but I think part of it is him trying to pressure the Heat into making a move THIS YEAR

Well, this guy is most definitely our resident Heat expert, so he probably has read more on the subject than any of us have. Keep that in mind guys. Not that you can't have opinions but facts support opinions and he's more well read on the Heat than any of us.jpake1 wrote: LeBron and Wade are NOT going to New York. As far as your post:
1. LeBron/Wade will not be in NYC, neither of them will be and especially not both of them. Totally agree there.
2. I also agree that Pat will win out in this, the Heat will get better. D-Wade will resign there, it's about as likely as LeBron is to sign back in Cleveland. Both of which I say the chances are well over 95%. People get too caught up in the story, and it is a BIG story so ESPN pushes the shit out of it.
3. LeBron/Wade might be the best 2-star combo you could put together in the NBA IMO. To each his own I guess, I don't see any reason anyone can think they wouldn't play well together.
4. I also agree with the stance that LeBron will end up in Miami before Wade would end up in Cleveland. In fact, I think that is LeBron's most likely destination outside of Cleveland--even though I don't think anywhere but Cleveland is very likely. And Beasley is a damn good player, I don't know what the fans deal is with him--but he's definitely lived up to his hype IMO. It's hard for young guys coming into the league now because the bar was set by LeBron/Melo/D-Wade/Bosh and it was set HIGH. So the hype gets pretty out of control sometimes, but the guy has played in 132 career games and is averaging 19 and 8...can't figure out why people don't think he's that great, and some even think he's a bust. -
3reppomBeasley is a good player, a very good player, but he isn't a complimentary player. Thats what is hurting him the most in Miami. He would be better off at a team that needed him to be the man than he is with Miami. He needs to have the ball in his hands to score at an efficient scorer, but Wade dominates the ball there and rightly so. Beasley has the talent to be a 30 point scorer, but he can't do it working off the ball.
-
jpake1He's a 21 year old 2nd year guy. He's got A LOT more improving to do, which he will do. He is very much a complimentary player. Just not one on a championship team. Whats stunting his growth (which I think is actually helping him... for the most part) is that they have the chains on him. They are teaching him the things he needs to learn that'll help him in the long run. They could allow him to play 38mins and take 24 shots while shooting 44%, but they don't want a TMac type of good player that doesn't have the attributes of a champion built in. Beasley doesn't need to control the ball. He's scoring pretty damn good this year while playing somewhere around 32mins I think. He'll continue to get better and become more efficient.
SQ, I think you're on to something. Fans got spoiled with LBJ, Wade, etc. Within the first 3 years, one was arguably the best player in the NBA and one was already an NBA Finals MVP. That doesn't really happen often ha. Beasley could be averaging 24 and 8 if playing 38mins a game and being the top dog. That wouldn't help him learn to be a winner; just a productive player on a shitty team. He'll be fine. -
SQ_CraziesYeah with the things we have seen in the young careers of Wade and LeBron already, the lottery pick has never been expected to do more.
-
mallymal614McGrady with 19 FIRST HALF points in his Knicks debut. I guess he is out to prove people that he still got it.
-
osu45804T-Mac with 26 right now and Eddie House w/ 22 as the Knicks are up 2 in OT

osu45804Thunder hold off the Knicks 121-118 despite 26 from T-Mac and 22 from Eddie House .... Durant had 35 for Oklahoma City
