If I get tickets (i've been checking for updates everyday) to the draft in NYC this year, I'm thinking about going with my boy kapono. Any other huddlers interested?
How much are tickets? It would be cool to go as a Jets fan and be one of the idiots on camera.
Dont forget the 1st round is on a Thursday.

I hadn't forgotten, but was disappointed to use an extra day of vacation to do this.

    *Current Selection*

Pittsburgh Steelers with the 18th pick select:

    Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee

Even if the Steelers give Casey Hampton the franchise tag, they must get their next nose tackle. It would make sense to give the rookie some time to work into the rotation. Williams is very strong and carries a lot of weight in his lower body at 325-335 pounds. Another reason to like Williams is he had his best season as a senior. Williams still can improve, but the Steelers should feel confident they can coach him to fit their 3-4 defense.

  • Al Capone
Good pick Non. They could franchise Hampton this year and possibly cut him the year after.
  • Non
After watching the senior bowl, I'm convinced this is a talented guy.

They can still get him on the field next year. Gives them even more depth in case something happens like Aaron Smith gets hurt again.

Now you have Hampton, Williams, Smith, Hood, Keisel. That's a lot of options on the defensive line.

CB is another obvious need but I don't expect the Steelers to reach for one need at the expense of not getting good value.

He could have joined Gholston on the all-uniform team. Mays for all of his physical abilities makes very few football plays.
