Pissed that Pierre didn't get a Super Bowl ring but I am kind of wishing I was on Bourbon St. right now

WHo cares. The Vikings are the best team in the NFL. They made the Saints look horrible on both sides of the ball, while Brees was able to throw all over the colts, and the colts couldnt move the ball against the Saints. If it wasnt for turnovers and the Vikes were in this game, it would of been a huge blowout.

    Oh well.........the ifs.

^^That is what happens when you let Bret Favre have control of the game.

Two situations the Colts wish they had back:

    1) Been more aggressive(instead of 3 running plays) trying to run out the clock in the first half after the goal line stand.

    2) Basket making a better play trying to corral the on-side kick to start the 2nd half!

Sean Payton, for right or wrong, has probably firmly cemented the impression of the premier game-calling coach in the NFL. Not sure whether I agree with that assessment or not...however, he has probably punched his ticket for NFL coaching jobs for as long as he wants them...ala Holmgren.

The best team in the NFL doesn't kill themselves with turnovers. The Vikes had the SB for the taking and, yet again they choked.

    What else is new.

Face it, the best team in the NFL this year won the Superbowl!!

I'm sick of the Vikings fans making excuses like if we didn't turn it over. Well part of the game is protecting the ball and they didn't do it. The better team doesn't make those mistakes.

If you listened to ESPN radio or even Sportscenter these past two weeks, you would have thought Peyton Manning was going to be enshrined into Canton after this game and that the Saints were a feel good story that just wasn't good enough to stop the GOAT QB.

This victory couldn't be any sweeter coming against the team and QB I despise the most in the league.

Lance Moore of Westerville south having a good game, showing what westerville people can do!

I'm pretty sure Manning will still be enshrined as soon as possible following his career. I don't understand the hatred for Manning.

This single Super Bowl does nothing to diminish Peyton Manning's career...any more than one Super Bowl appearance enhances Trent Dilfer's.
    Let's be realistic.
Even if he were to never make another Super Bowl appearance, Manning is a first ballot HOFer and one of the best, if not the best, of his generation.
And, he will make more Super Bowl appearances.

Univ of Toledo's Lance Moore comes up big for the winning Saints by the way....congrats to him.

I am beyond sick of hearing how the city New Orleans "deserved" this.

Good game. Don't understand how you have "hate" for Peyton, classy guy, and a studious QB that everyone would like on their team. Good job for the Saints. Two former Buckeyes get a Superbowl ring, Malcolm Jenkins and Will Smith, Smith even has a college National Championship!

Why not? The Saints clearly outplayed the Colts.

I wanted Manning to get the win but if I guess I am ok with New Orleans winning.
On this day (yesterday) the Saints were better. IMO

+1. Katrina was 4 years ago, and the Saints winning the Super Bowl isn't going to do a thing for the mess that is still down there.

I was rooting for the Colts, but don't mind the Saints winning at all.
