Who has the record?

Skyhook79for game winning shots in a season? I know its not Lebron. I'm gonna say Kobe.
Thoughts? -
Trueblue23LMAO.
Hard to tell, probably Horry or Reggie. -
2kool4skoolGot to be a guy that played on a team that won a lot of games, plus was the clear #1 option on his team.
I'm going to say either Jordan, Bird, or Kobe. Miller is a possibility as well. -
SportsAndLadyI'm not afraid to praise Kobe. That was a hell of a shot, he's been doin that his whole career.
That's the difference between you and I Skyhook...Kobe hits a big time shot, i'll give him his praise he deserves. Lebron hits a big shot, and you're a big douche about it, posting pics of Kobe holding trophys, etc.
You can't just appreciate the fact that we have 2 of the all-time greatest players to play in the NBA in the league right now. It's great. It's queefers like you who ruin it all for fans of the game. -

Trueblue23According to 82games.com, Ray Allen is a better clutch shooter than Kobe.
That's why I piss on stats like that. -
SportsAndLadyBy the way, thank you kobe for hitting that shot. Love seein Boston go down in flames.
Gotta give credit to Sage on the prediction of the C's after they won the title...even I thought you were crazy. But it really does appear that Boston peaked that season, and won't do a damn thing the rest of the way. -

I just wish you were actually educated in a sense. It's frustrating trying to debate legit topics with such a biased person.Skyhook79 wrote: for game winning shots in a season? I know its not Lebron. I'm gonna say Kobe.

sportswizuhrdCongrats on your meaningless regular season win.

paulspadaforaHard to define this. Do foul shots count? Is it only shots on the last possession? Whats the penalty for misses?

what about Bill Russell?3reppom wrote: its probably the logo -
Mr. 300Wow, great shot by Kobe.

Ironman92Was it Andre Either with all the walk off hits this year....same idea different sport
to a lesser extend....most game winning RBI's in a season....Eric Davis -
sleeperHe traveled. What a joke.
I've never understood Kobe's fans obsession with game winning shots. Sundiata Gaines hit a game winner not too long ago, ya who? Sundiata Gaines = Kobe Bryant in my book. -
ytownfootballLol...a game winner with 7.3 ticks left on the clock and a Boston miss?
-

Yes, that would be a game winner.ytownfootball wrote: Lol...a game winner with 7.3 ticks left on the clock and a Boston miss? -

Maybe if Bryant took better shots during the game he would be shooting a much higher percentage...and all these prayers he's thrown up this year wouldn't have had to be answered.Skyhook79 wrote: for game winning shots in a season? I know its not Lebron. I'm gonna say Kobe.

Yes, but does it count the same as a buzzer beater? This is a pointless conversation; there are entirely too many variables.wildcats20 wrote:

Kobe's shot WON the game hence the name "game winner." A buzzer beater would WIN the game, hence calling it a "game winner."paulspadafora wrote:

Benny The JetSo would Lebron's shot that put them up 7-5 in the 1st quarter then never trailed after that would be a game winner? Sorry, just bein a dick....but I do agree there's a lot of variables. Buzzer beater game winner's is another story though.
-
wildcats20Technically...yes. LOL

They are two completely different scenarios. There is a difference between last shot and second to last shot, especially with Andrew Bynum patrolling the paint.wildcats20 wrote:

What if a team is up 6 and opposing team goes on a 4-0 run to narrow the margarine of victory to 2 before the end of the game? The player who scored the last 2 points for the winner still won the game and gets credit for a game winner and under your definition is just as "clutch" as someone nailing a buzzer beater.
