Hang your hat on your 2 division titles this decade and I'll take the 2 lombardi trophys.Scarlet_Fever wrote: Rocks just mad because this year the Steelers sucked donkey butt and Notre Dame will Never and I mean Never be what they onced believed themselves to be. I didn't know Skip Bayless posted on the huddle. If he played for your steelers you would get off just thinking about him.rock_knutne wrote:
Another example of ignorance! What do the Steelers and ND have to do with "Ocho Stinko" and his cancer of a persona? NOTHING, you make those references because your sorry/pathetic ass has no come back what so ever, although I should expect that from a Buckeye fan! LMAO, 19 years with out a playoff win!Scarlet_Fever wrote: Rocks just mad because this year the Steelers sucked donkey butt and Notre Dame will Never and I mean Never be what they onced believed themselves to be. rock_knutne^^^^^That's just it, the Rooneys would NEVER sign a cancer like Ocho Stinko.......NEVER! That's why they consistently win and the Bungles consistenly struggle. It was posted above that Mike Brown approves of his antics, imagine that.

stroupsLol....... Didn't one of the biggest douche bags in NFL use to play for the Steelers (Joey Porter)

Joey didn't fit in with the organizations image but the biggest reason they cut him was because of salary cap issues.rock_knutne wrote:stroups wrote: Lol....... Didn't one of the biggest douche bags in NFL use to play for the Steelers (Joey Porter)

From the article you posted:
"A three-time Pro Bowl performer, Porter turns 30 on March 22. And with new coach Mike Tomlin taking over for Bill Cowher, the Steelers were looking to go in a different direction with their linebacking corps.
Porter is one of the league's most outspoken players and is willing to verbally challenge opponents. His approach did not mesh well with the Steelers' image."
Trust me, Porter's mouth cost him another contract with Pittsburgh. Under Art Rooney II, the Steelers have been willing to sign their top guns with in reason, they signed James Harrison and James Farrior last year, both are in their 30's. Porter is still very good but his antics cost him another contract in Pittsburgh. -
Pick6What about Lamar Woodley?
-
rock_knutne
What about him? He ran his mouth once and it wasn't a taunting deal like Porter used to do. Frankly, Woodley is right, these teams laying down at the end of the year with nothing to play for is crap. IMO, the league has to do something about it. Many teams who scrap and claw for a chance to make the playoffs are getting screwed at the end of the year. Yeah, it's a 16 game schedule and it's all about wins and losses but shutting it down with two games remaining in the season is crap.Pick6 wrote: What about Lamar Woodley? -

I geuss the steelers shouldnt have lost to the browns chiefs and raiders.rock_knutne wrote:

He was running his mouth about the Bengals laying down(which you could say they did), however it had no impact on the steelers not making the playoffs. -

Just wanted the bungal fans to see the trophys one more time.stroups wrote:

jordo212000You gotta love the cock measuring that ensues every time there is a Bengals-themed thread.

Just like the Pats and Colts laying down had no impact either. I agree, the Steelers sealed their own fate by not winning one more game but it's just not them, there were several teams that got screwed by teams shutting it down. IMO, the league needs to change that policy, I'd be pissed if I had tickets to one of those games and I had to watch the scrubs play.Pick6 wrote:

Stick that remark were the sun doesn't shine! I'm a long time season ticket holder and a life long fan and I'll refer to the Steelers as "WE" when ever I want!wizecracker wrote: I didn't know you played for the Steelers. -
Scarlet_FeverIt's so funny to see how mad Steelers fans get when they are reminded that they sucked this year. I mean we all seen how bad the Bengals really were yet they swept the Steelers. Don't worry Rock. It just wasn't your year. The Rooney's run a great organization and YOU'LL be back. The Steelers will not fade off into mediocrity like Notre Dame has.
-
rock_knutne^^^^Hahaha, you're so funny! Again, bringing up ND when they have absolutely nothing to do with this topic, typical when you know you've lost the argument! You know what's really funny.............19 years and still counting.
-
Scarlet_FeverWhat battle? The topic is about Ocho kicking in the Pro Bowl. For some reason that makes you angry? Why is that?
-
rock_knutne^^^^^You're the one who brought up the Steelers and ND. I made my remarks regarding Ocho Stinko and wanting to kick in the Pro Bowl. He doesn't make me mad at all, he's an attention seeking cancer that thankfully doesn't play for my team. That's the way I see it and obviously that didn't sit well with you or you wouldn't have resorted to bringing up the Steelers or ND in a discussion that's not about them.........so who's actually mad here?
-
ts1227Back to the topic at hand...
Why not let him kick? The game is irrelevant and no one cares. It won't hurt anything.
It's a little of both. What Goodell wants is ridiculous and I hope his stint as commissioner is as short as humanly possible, and Ocho often takes it to an extreme. We need characters. Ocho is awesome until he goes past that line into retard mode.jordo212000 wrote: Yeah the hatred of Ochocinco is bizarre. Heaven forbid a guy try and make the league more fun and exciting. The league would be so boring if it weren't for guys like Chad Ochcocinco. Can you imagine if everybody was like Belichick? -

Worrying about himself? Chad went into the owners office and said that if he was causing distractions he'd stop. The owner replied, "What distractions?" They love what he does. Not everything has to be uptight and formal. It's a game. It's suppose to be fun. He's having fun. He's a hard worker and he WANTS to win.
I don't see how you could ask for anything else. -
gerb131If Chad does kick maybe it would open up a spot for Santonio or Hines.

crab42Yes Chad is out there and he's a self promoter, but he's a caring giving guy too... Check out this story, and look up some of the other things he's done this offseason.

That's all fine and good, to me and most though, it doesn't give him the right to kick anything over the guys that were voted to their respective positions. I don't want to see him kick anything like I don't want to see a kicker go out for a pass. Period.crab42 wrote: Yes Chad is out there and he's a self promoter, but he's a caring giving guy too...
